Amber acting in Dumex Baby Milk Commercial

Hello all! As you guys know, I was a very very busy dog on Monday & Tuesday, doing the Baby Milk Commercial Shoot for China. I had to do 3 different scenes & in one of the scenes, I acted with a little 3 year old boy. Below are some photos taken on both those days plus a short video of compiled clips of me in action.

Here's a bus where I got to hang out in the entire day. Two air-conds blasted right at me so I was kept cool the entire time.

All the actors' wardrobes were kept & displayed under that tent, including mine ofcourse. This was the sweater that a tailor made just for me to wear in the "winter" scene.

This was the set for the winter scene. The snow is actually salt but it looked like real snow. There was also a snowman in there. In this scene I had to run from one corner to another. I did it well but during one of the takes, I made a patch of yellow snow. Yea, I just couldn't hold it any longer. Hee!

For the last scene, I had to run from the other end towards the camera. It was easy & I had so much fun doing it! Everybody clapped for me. The director was very impressed with my performance.

This park had so many huge lakes. I kept wanting to go in them but I wasn't allowed to at all.

Here I am posing with one of the actors. We both have great smiles, don't we?

Later that evening, Melissa was asked to help out with the puppies in a scene where one of them had to lick the camera screen. She went alone without me. The shoot ended the following day so Melissa only came back around 4 in the morning. She was really exhausted but had a good time assisting them.

Overall, we all had an enjoyable time with the shoot. It was very tiring but we had a very good time. I made many friends & fans! I can't wait to see the commercial when it finally airs! That would take about 3 months I think. In the meantime, we'll wait for the next commercial shoot!

Hi Amber-Mae,

I'm visiting your website after seeing your comment on Maxmom and Toby's website in South Africa. I'm a four and a bit year old English looking male Golden Retriever - so far paler than you, but my human-mum and I love that you have a spot on your tounge. Her first dog had a big spot at the fron tof his tounge and when they got me they checked for the special spots. I have some now, but mine are hidden! I even bloged about it last year,
http://rileytheretriever.blogspot.com/2010/09/my-tongue-and-its-secret.html

It' so cool you have a spot like her first golden - as people used to comment about it. It's so special, and I'm looking forward to following your blog.

Sending you woofs from New Zealand,
Riley

Hi Amber-Mae!

Long time no woof! So nice to hear from you and catch up with what you've been doing. And WOWEE!! What exciting adventures! Being a TV star, huh? How cool is that? You're the most glamorous doggie I know! I loved seeing all the photos & the videos of your shoot. Hsin-Yi used to work for an ad agency in London and one of her accounts was a dogfood so she's been on a few shoots with dogs - and she remembers the dogs they had to work with were so stubborn! They were stuck there for hours and hours just trying to get a bulldog to turn its head to the left!!! :-) Whereas you made it look so easy - you're a real professional, Amber!

Anyway, I'm glad you're back in blogging contact and I hope we'll keep in touch now! I've missed you too!

Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
ps. yeah, I'm going really grey! YOu're still looking your same beautiful self but sadly, us giant breeds age a LOT faster!
pps. love the new look of your blog!
