Tasty Raw Cow Hoofs!

Hey friends! Thank you so much for the great Barkday wishes! Well, I didn't get any cake or yummy food on my special day but last evening, our hoomies gave us raw cow hoofs as a special treat & as my belated Barkday present! They also got me two cow pee pees. Hee!

River wins BOB & Best Puppy In Group!

Got some good news for you all! My handsome son, River, went for a show in Ipoh last Sunday with Chloe & guess what? River won his 1st Best Of Breed (BOB) & Best Puppy In Group against 17 Goldens at the age of 6 months 18 days old! And he beat a couple of imports too!!! The whole family & I are very happy for him. He did exceptionally well for his 1st time.

Mommy handled him throughout the whole show & she said River never got tired for the whole 13 hours over there & he was always full of zest in the ring. He gaited & stacked wonderfully though he did freak out in the beginning when the Australian judge touched his erm..."jewels" but after that he warmed up to him. The judge was a very nice, gentle man. River made it all the way up to the Best Puppy In Show category but he didn't get anything from there. Hopefully next time, he will.

They had a very exhausting day because everybody left at 3.30 in the morning on Sunday & only came at 1 a.m. the next day. They did not get to rest at all. BOL! Well, we sure were very happy to see them all back home again.

Happy World Animal Day!

Happy World Animal Day to all our brudders & sistas & to all the other animals that live in this world. We hope you all had a great celebration, got great food, lots of huggies & kisses from your hoomies. We had a nice celebration yesterday because we got to eat CAKE!

Yesterday, we were supposed to go for a celebration & a performance at Furry Friends Farm Dog Sanctuary but unfortunately as we were ready to leave, our car didn't want to start & coincidentally, we got a call from the organiser saying that they had to end the event early so we did not have to go.

Mommy baked a nice cake for the FFF dogs but too bad they didn't get a chance to try it. Our brudders & sistas would have enjoyed it very much. We couldn't let the cake go to waste so we all ate it for them & had our own little celebration at home!

Isn't this cake just cute? It was Mommy's 1st time making figurines out of sugar gum paste.

We all absolutely loved the cake. Mommy makes the best cake in the world! I hope you all got/get to eat cake on your celebration too.

A Day Out at Ikano & River's 1st Grooming Session

We Five Stooges got to hang out at Ikano on public pawliday last week & we had a blast. It was the pupplets' 2nd time being there. Many people were attracted to us & were taking pictures, petting us & were doing all those coochie coochie coo to us as usual. Normally, when we're there, I'm usually the STAR, doing my performance there but this time, it was River who was the STAR of the day! He showed off his OB skills & tricks.

I was chilling. Our hoomies got us a new rope toy because River loved it but after they purchased it, River didn't want it anymore. BOL!

Mingling with a Husky who loved pulling & pulling on the leash till his eyes were about to pop out. River & he had the typical "male syndrome/ego" thingy & they two were barking their heads off at each other.

In about two weeks time, River & Chloe will be going for a Conformation Show in Ipoh. It will be River's 1st time so Mommy started grooming them early so that they do not look like they have been freshly cut on the day of the show. This was River's 1st time on the grooming table. He liked being up there. He was surprisingly well behaved & didn't struggle that much.

Our New Upcoming Champion, River!

AmbersLegacy Orion Star aka River is going to be our new upcoming Champion for Conformation, Obedience, Canine Freestyle & probably Agility too. He's a very beautiful puppy who is only 5 months plus & has already learned how to stack on command, do all basic OB commands & as well as a handful of tricks. He's really following his mother's footsteps. Below is a video of River. I hope you enjoy it!

Goofy Clowns

Hey friends! Sorry for neglecting you all for so long. I feel so bad! The internet connection was a boo-boo for more than a week when it rained & those goo-goos had to fix the underground cable. Mommy was going crazy without the internet. I think she was having a serious internet hang over. Glad the internet line came back.

Anyway, last weekend, we went to Dogathon 2009 & we had a good time although it was too hot for all of us to be having much fun. We did win a few silly games though & I won 3rd place for Agility Jumpers. Not bad for a saggy old Mama eh? Mommy & I entered for another photo contest & this year's theme was "Clownie & Doggy". So we two had to dress up like clowns & submit our pictures. We won 2nd place & the "Most Funniest" award. Check it out!
