Faith's 1st Barkday!

All three of them looked worried when we sang the birthday song...
Happy Barkday & Valentines Day to you my darling Faith! She's finally one year old, yipeee! But why is she still so small & stunted? Hmmm...We'll never know.

Her birthday was a last minute thing coz we actually forgot to buy her a "real" cake from the
bakery shop hence, we're too busy with school & work. Immediately when I came back from my sports training today, I prepared Faith's cake. Actually it's a cheap square fruit cake bread I bought from the bread man last night that comes every Wednesdays to sell his stuff. I just cut it into the letter 'F' using a knife becoz her name's Faith. It wasn't that difficult actually. Here, I'll give you the 4 easy steps to make a non-expensive but tasty cake for your dogs. It doesn't have to be a cake from the bakery shop, a bread will do!

Step 1 -
Buy a flat square shaped cheese/fruit/butter/whatever bread & just cut it into any shape you like or maybe into a letter that's straight forward & easy to cut into like example, the letters 'F' and 'E'.
Step 2 - To make the sweet butter icing, you'll need 7 full tablespoons of icing sugar(sifted), food dye(optional), 2 big tablespoons butter or margarine(softened), 2 limes or a few drops of vanilla essence. Mix the icing sugar & butter together using a spoon till creamy. Stir in a few drops of food dye & the lime juice or vanilla essence. Once mixed nicely, use a fork & whip it violently till it turns to a creamy color. The whipping helps the cream to have air bubbles in it hence, it'll be thicker, fluffier, creamier & tastier! I learned this from a pro on tv...
Step 3 - Apply the whipped buttery cream on top of the surface of the cake & sides. Use a knife to do this.
Step 4 - Once done, be creative! Decorate it with some sweets & cornflakes...whatever! Just use your imagination. But remember, no chocolates...

Once t
he cake's ready, put it in the fridge for an hour. Once nice and cold, take it out, poke a candle into it & you're ready to serve! It only takes an hour to make it. Nothing difficult...Plus, nothing much to wash too! On the left: Chloe enjoying the last bit of Faith's cake. She's a sweet tooth girl...No wonder she's fat! Oh & by the way, Happy Valentines Day to you all doggies & hoomans out there! May your loved ones feel loved by you...

Amber walloped her cake without even chewing. She's crazy!

You'll still need to hand-feed her, no matter how tasty her food is...
