Malaysian Dog Day Event

Hey buddies! Yesterday, we three stooges were at an indoor doggy event. The place was kinda cramped with lotsa peoples & doggies because the stadium was actually pretty small but was air-conditioned. Oooh, you guys know how much I love A/C. Heehee! So we joined a few competitions & as well as Agility. We did well with the games but sadly, Mommy & I withdrew from doing the Agility trial after the accident I had in the 1st run for Jumpers.

Check out the crowd! Pretty cramped huh? No doggies were allowed on top of those seating areas because it was carpeted. Boohoo right?

Mommy & I joined the 60 weave pole challenge. I did sooper well & only missed one pole along the way but the floor was parquet so I was slip & sliding all over the place hence, was slow. All dogs had trouble with the floor too but they managed to do it faster especially those who had the help of the leash. Mommy was not upset that I did not win. She was proud of me because I did it so well!

Next, I dressed up for the Fancy Dress Contest. I was a CLOWN! A pretty sad one actually. Heehee! Oh & excuse Mommy's spare tire. She has put on weight...

Take a closer look at me goofy clown! Can you guess who's the 1st place winner? ME ME ME WHEEE!!! Can you read the words on top of my gigantic specs? It says AMBER!!!

Mommy also submitted three photos of me & her modeling together for the "Me & My Pooch" Photo contest. Check out all the entries! All were great! Can you spot out ours?

Kissie, kissie...

Great water action there. Mommy look so happy! Hee!

What are we looking at? At MY tennis ball!!! See, that's called my "THROW IT!" face!

During the event, we also got to eat some deeleecious goodies. Oooh, look at that Chloe's face. That's called the, Fried Rice face!!!

Nyom! People were impressed with us because we eat so neatly. Not even one piece of rice dropped onto the floor. We are such neat & polite eaters. *snort*

Look at what I've won! Faith actually got 4th placing in Jumpers BUT no trophy for 4th placing. Aww boohoo! Faith did quite well actually though she started her "blur-like-lost-in-space-kind-of-self" as usual in the middle of both her runs. That's probably what cost her her points.

Last week, Chloe & I also won 2nd & 3rd placing in Pre-Novice at another trial. We also went for a Dog Dancing Seminar. Kinda fun. Chloe did very well. I was half dead. Haha! This week, we're going to another 2 days long event & hopefully we will do better! It's a pity though we can't bring the pupperets along yet until they finish their 3 shots. But they will definitely be ready for the Dogathon event in August! Woot! Woot!

What have the two monkeys been up to?

River & Megan have grown up a lot this past few weeks. River weighs a whopping 11 kgs while Megan is around 9. River is really heavy & big! Our hoomies are having so much trouble carrying him in & out of the pen. They both know how to "sit" on command even without food & are now working on "down" & "stay". They also know how to "wait" before they eat their food & drink water. They have been going for walks everyday & have been doing their business on grass consistently. They really enjoy their walks! Below are the latest pictures of the two monkeys Mommy took this morning.

Looking cute in the morning. Check out River's ears. They are so big, Mommy can cover both his eyes with just one ear!

They are always excited to go for walkies. Normally they only go in the evenings but since all the other 5 kids are gone, Mommy will be able to take them out twice a day from now on.

Here the kids sitting on command again. They are so good at it!

Megan-Joy looking pretty...

Sniffing around. Check out River's movement! Not often you will see that. Mommy said River's back legs are very funny. His footies tend to go inwards when he walks but when he stands still, they are perfectly parallel. We all just hope that it's nothing serious & his walk will change to normal very soon. Hopefully this is just a puppy walk. Megan's walk was the same but became normal just a week back.

Zooooomies! Wheee!!! They always get to run for a few seconds on each walk. Mommy does not want them to over do it though because their leggies are still not strong enough to take all of this. They always have fun each time they are allowed to run for a little bit. It makes them tired. A tired puppy is always a happy puppy!

By the way, did you all hear about Micheal Jackson's passing? I have no idea who he is but Mommy said he's the 'King of Pop'. I have no idea what she means but she is very sad about it. R.I.P.

Bye Bye Tia-Liana!

Tia has gone to her new home last evening. Look at her! She is SO big already! We hope she has a new great life. I'm pretty sure she will especially with those little kids.

Lara is actually being taken cared by our hoomies' friends. She has been with them for about 4 days already & is having a fun time with three new doggy friends. They might be interested in keeping her. We'll see how it goes. So now that means, there's only two monkeys left in the house. Mommy can now concentrate on them & train them as well!

UPDATE: Lara is back with us & already found a new owner! She will go to her new home in the next 4 months.

AMBER the ACTRESS!!!

Hey guys! I am BACK! Sorry that we have been so quiet lately. Well as usual, we have been busy with the puppies & Mommy has been so lazy to blog for me. She has put on half the weight back on as well. That's the result of eating too much & not going out enough. Ooops! Anyway, yesterday I was cast in a short independent film called 'FLASHES'. It is for a Film Festival. This is my 2nd time being hired to act. I had a blast because the scene that I did was all about playing ball! Wheee!

This was the 1st scene they were doing...

I waited around for a few hours & just watched them...

I played ball. Nice lawn!

Then drank some water...

Finally it was my turn!

Here's the cameraman talking to Mommy. Unfortunately, the 1st round did not work as well as we thought it would. The poor little kid was fired after that. Aww...

So another kid was hired. He was bigger, older & had much more confidence acting with me. But I think both the boys were such nice little fellows!

It was time to shoot again. We did this scene a million, billion, gazillion & WOWEEllion times until we finally got the pawfect one! It was tiring for me but I did get naps in between the shoots. Oh & not forgetting the good yummy food too! It sure isn't easy working with an animal like me & a kid at the same time...

Here's me playing with one of the actor in the scene.

Here's me possing with the child actor. He is such a smart kiddie.

Then I posed with the cast & crew. Mommy told all of them to say, "I Love Amber" when she shot this picture. Heehee! See, everybuddy loves me because I am smart & gorgeous! Heehee!

Me posing with the pretty Producer.

Then with the Director. Oh gosh, he looks like he's in pain in this picture or maybe it's my body odour. Hmm, I wonder...

Overall, it was a very tiring but super fun day! We are so looking forward to the trailer for this & then I can show it to you all. Alright, I think it is time for me to visit all of my neglected blogger friends. Catch me in your blogs! Zoom zoom!

We Puppies Learning Good Manners

Hiya buddees! Our Auntie Merissha teached us good manners. We cannot jumped on the playpen fence or make squeaky sounds when it is times for foodies or treaties. We very good kiddies & we listen to what she tells us to do.

River Oh River

River has gone to his new home! We will miss this boy. He is the most quietest one among the 7. The most gentlest too when it comes to taking treats from hand. Have a good life dear! He now has a blog for himself so that we can keep in touch. Go visit him!

Puppy Stacking & Posey Peektures

Hey guys! Mommy has finally got a new camera!!!! Woohoo! That means no more 10 year old Canon junk! The pictures are better & sharper. We told Mommy she better take care of this one. The previous one had too much water in it & that's why it dieded.

Anyway, Mommy decided to take some random shots of the puppies this afternoon. She also took some stacking pictures of them. If you look properly, you'll notice that the puppies' front legs are not parallel. That's because Mommy was stacking/handling them whilst taking the pictures at the same time! Mommy is very flexible & can do many things at the same time. BOL!

Aren't these two just precious? We hope someone wants them soon. It'll be great if they can live together. They both are such great sistas!

Lara smiling for the camera.

Tia busy chewing the rocking chair.

Tia stacking by herself. Looking great I must say.

Tia front.

Lara.

Don't Lara & Tia just look the same? They are like twins!

This is Orion. This picture don't do him justice! He is much more gorgeous if you see him in real life. His stack here isn't good because he is a little afraid of heights. He has an absolutely great structure with thick meaty legs too!

Isn't he beewootiful?

Here is my little Megan! Her stack was the best. Doesn't she look good?

Isn't she just the cuterest? I love her little button nose.

Here's River balancing a treat on his nose. Mommy wasn't able to stack him on the table because he absolutely just won't stand. Too scared of heights. But he will do it well once he's older & trained more often for this.

He's much more happier just siting there with that treat on his nose. Heehee!
