Today, we had a Spa. Mommy made a natural dip which consists of citrus, lemon grass, sea salt & of course water. Mommy used to put on Spot On for us often but nowadays, she rather use something that's natural & safer like this Citrus dip.
Orange peels, lemon juice & lemon peels, lemon grass & sea salt all boiled together.
Mommy poured the dip the last after we're all scrubbed clean.
Chloe enjoyed it very much...
Oh no! Oranges & lemons grew on her!!! Even her tongue turned into an orange peel! I knew it was a bad idea from the start.
Look what grew on her head!
Oh no! Not me too!!!
This home remedy is very good to repel ticks, fleas & even mosquitoes. The sea salt benefits those who have skin problems, dry skin, allergies & eczema like Chloe & Faith often have. The orange peels have its own natural oil which you will notice floating on the surface of the water after boiling them. Lemon has a very strong citrus smell & so does the lemon grass. The lemon juice conditions the coat. You don't even have to apply conditioner! This dip does the job. We smell so fresh now! We say, two paws up for this dip!You guys must try this out but be sure not to drink any of it okay?Because Chloe did & this is what she said...
Harrrooooo everybuddy! Sorry that moi haven't been visiting any of your blogs lately. Moi have been getting lazier these past few days & getting fatter too. Still, no baby bump yet but moi will be getting Ultrasound in the next two weeks. Let's just hope that the little blobs are growing up healthy inside of moi's belly. Snort!
So, it's Faith's Birthday today. She is now three! We just celebrated her birthday & oh-my, it was sooo OMF(freaking that is)G!!! "What Amber? OMFG? What did you guys do?," you ask. Well, we had a FEAST! A big juicy one! That's right! It was MEAT OVERLOADED tonight!!!
Happy Birthday to you Faith! Ooooh, check out her cake!
After sing song, blow candles, put cake aside, we started off with the main course 1st. A slab of steakfor each of us. Now that's what I'm talking about bebeh!
While we dug in, Faith actually walked off. She needed help for it to be cut into smaller pieces because she can't handle a big one. Gee!
Mommy pushed Faith back into position but she just stared at it. I already finished mine within a few seconds. I didn't mind helping her out actually but Mommy stopped me.Boohoo!
Finally Faith started to eat after the pieces were cut smaller. You know, I've always wondered what if Faith was living in the wild? How is she going to...Oh, it gets me thinking all the time!
Now it was cake time! Can you all guess what it is? It's a dog bowl with kibbles on it! And no, that is NOT real kibbles! Those are fake, miniature meatballs made to look like kibbles! Kool ehhh???Mommy's 1st attempt on a 3D cake.
Faith did the honours of cutting the cake.
Then it was time to WHACK IT!!!
Nyom...Nyom...Nyom...
You know, notice Faith is hardly in the pictures? Well, that's because she's always hiding in the back & waiting for someone to help spoonfeed her. This is more like, OUR Birthday pawty than hers! We're just eating without any care in the world. Looks good? The cake is actually Meatloaf. The cake consists of minced beef, lots of grated carrots, diced potatoes & other special ingredients that makes our mouths water. The topping is actually made of yogurt & butter. If any of you guys would like to know Mommy's secret recipe, just pee-mail me aight?
Oh look what Chloe found! Remaindwr miniature meatballs on the table. BOL!!!
Here's a last picture of the Birthday Valentine girl. She's one happy dog tonight(so are we too)!
Okay, since we ate too much protein today, tomorrow is vegetarian day. Yuck! Oh & yes, before I forget, check this out. Faith & our sour kitty sista are featured in a magazine for February's issue! Happy Valentine's Day ya'll!And now, I'm gonna visit all your blogs till I drop. Whoopie!
Last Sunday, our training school MKA(Malaysian Kennel Association) held a potluck pawty for everyone to enjoy before our grueling OB exam starts on the following week which is actually this Sunday. Oh, we're not prepared yet! My hoomans brought along some gassy drinks while others brought some yummy yummy foodies, drinks too, snacks, cakes & many more!
After the OB training was over, the games kicked off first! They were actually very simple games, silly but fun & we managed to win three out three games for the Advanced OB trained dogs like us three & our other friends. Woohoo! The Beginners got to play games like the Fastest Recall & such.
For the 1st game, the hoomans had to balance a tupperware of water on their heads while we doggies had to heel beside them without pulling whilst walking to the finish line as fast as we could. I pulled quite a bit to pick up some sausages thrown all over the grass. I got to eat a few. Oh yum!
Look at how focused we both were to win that prize. Mommy actually walked pretty amazingly fast without spilling that thing on her head & we were the 1st to finish. Whee!
We & our friends won.
Then it was our hooman M & Chloe's turn. They too made it!
The winners!
The 2nd game, our hoomans had to balance a boiled egg on ther spoons while handling our leashes on the same hand. Sounds hard eh? But Mommy was the 1st to finish again. Chloe & our hooman M also won. What did they do to the eggs after that? We got to EAT them! I love eggs coz I love to fart!
For the thrid game, we doggies had to sit-stay & leave a plate of yummy-smelling-mouth-watering sausages right infront of us & I mean real close to our feets! Faith surprisingly started eating the sausages eventhough she hates sausages. I guess she was hungry but luckily she did it before the game actually started. So in the end, Faith & I won & some other doggies too. So there you go, three games!
Then the FEAST BEGAN!!!
Look at all that fooodies! The hoomans ate like piggies while we doggies were tied up & forced to watch them eat. Oh pooh!
I voluntarily performed my tricks to entertain the peoples so that they don't get bored. Hee! I perfomed by 'Bubble' trick & people were so impressed. See that boy trying to take a good shot of me doing it? Snort!
Then the 'Elephant' trick... Poeple loved that too.
My 'Shy' trick...People went, "Awww..."
Then the 'Hug' trick with Chloe. This time, the peoples didn't get it & all kept silent. It was a funny momnent!
Then 'Cross your paw' trick. I performed others too but I was a little tired so I didn't do them as neatly as I usually do. But hey, who says pregnant ladies can't perform tricks too huh? Hehehe!
That's it folks! Wheeeeeeeeee!!! Faith's Barkday is coming up in a few days so Mommy is gonna make a really nice cake for Faith & she said there'll be a yummy juicy surprise for us all on that day. I wonder what it is? I can't wait!
Hey guys! Guess what? I finally mastered my new trick. It's so much fun & I think the water & the food is such a great combination don't cha agree? Hee!
Hi my dear friends, it's me Amber-Mae! Mommy finally let me take over once again since this is MY blog, not hers. I don't like to share my blog with her sometimes but I let her anyway. I was just trying to be nice to her. Snort!
Guess what happened today?? It was totally wild! This morning we received a really huge package & when I say huge, I kid you not! The mailmen came & delivered it early in the morning & Mommy was still half a sleep but she managed to wake up & open the front door & didn't even know who the package was from until the mailmen mentioned the name Cody. Mommy was asked to sign a piece of paper & when the mailmen hauled the box over the gate, Mommy was shocked & almost laughed her brains out! It was so so so so monstah huge! She was worried it was heavy but the guy told her, "Don't worry, it's very light." Hahahaha!!!Cody oh Cody, you are full of surprises!
Didn't I warn you it's huge? The hugest we've ever received! We were all beside ourselves with delight. Chloe especially knew her job well(actually, me too). Usually we're spot on. Whatever packages we receive be it for us or not, it means, RIP IT UP!!!
Rip this biggie open!
Look at my action pose! Chloe managed to pull out the 1st toy. What is it?
It's a cute Valentine teddy stuffie just for Chloe from hers truly, Cody!
Look! Another stuffie! And it's for Faith! Faith's Barkday is on Valentine's Day so this is her early Barkday pressie.
Faith seemed a little confused & just walked around & didn't join in the fun. But don't worry, she'll play with the toy soon once she's feeling better!
So Chloe stole it & played with it!
In the meanwhile, this was what I was still doing. It's really addictive I tell ya!
And there was more! Deeleecious scrumptious TREATS!
Look at what Cody made for Chloe! A nice card saying Happy Valentine's Day to her. And look! He evemn left her a lock of his golden fur beside the picture of his stud muffin face. Smells good too!
This is what he made for Faith. So very the kool!
Here's a nice group picture of us posing with all the pressies we got! THANK YOU very much Cody & Family! You guys ROCK!
