Heya friends!

Happy Merdeka Day to all of my Malaysian friends & Happy Weekends to you all !!!

Well, I think most of my Malaysian friends are now having a fun holiday with their hoomans now coz it's Malaysia's National Day today. I could hear the loud BOOM BOOM going on at around 12 midnite last nite. I didn't mind it that much coz it doesn't bother me at all... Well now, for me it isn't much of a holiday unlike my other friends like Boo becoz my hoomans & my mommy are always at home 24/7. Actually my hooman brother is now having a four day break from college. I think we'll just be staying at home.

In my previous previous post, Jackson my good pal requested for me to put a video of my mommy singing here. I forced my mommy this morning take a video of herself singing & she listened. Wooo! I got her well trained, teeheehee! Here it is & I'm warning you, she's damn good...

How did you like it? My mommy's more into country pop than anything else. She loves songs mostly by Leanne Rhymes, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride & the Rascal Flats.

Oh yeah about the other bad news I told you guys. My mommy CANNOT join the singing competition becoz becoz becoz, they changed the rules. No more 16 & 17 year olds are allowed to join. Now, only 18-32 are allowed. She & her mom were so so so depressed these past few days becoz if you go to the One In A Million website, one page says that 16-32 are allowed to join but if you go to another page, it says 18-26 only. We were sooo confused & when my hooman called them up & asked, they gave a straight forward answer, "NO!" That's it! There goes her chance again... Now she has to wait till next year AGAIN! Can you believe that? This is just disappointing. She was sooo ready for it & worked very hard for it & her chance is gone just like that! *sigh*

She's feeling better today becoz I've been keeping her company & allowed her to put clips on my face for my previous post, that helped to cheer her up abit.

Amber's Guide for Dummies- The 'Shy' Trick

Heya friends!

Okay, before I continue on my post, I would like to thank you ALL so very much for all those kind & warm words you've left in my comment box. It really made me feel much much better. Oh & my mommy also says thank you for all those good luck wishes. She really appreciates it... But we still have another depressing news to tell you all but I don't want to say it today.

Okay! Now let's get on with today's post.

Now, some of you wanted to know how I learned the 'Shy' trick. Well, today my mommy took a video of me on how she taught me to cover my eyes with my paw paw.

Can you see Chloe in the background? Hehehehe... So, that's basically how she taught me. There are two methods. One by using a soft clip. Make sure the clip is not a big one & make sure that your hooman don't clip your skin. If your hooman does that, bite him/her! The other thing they can use is a strip of cellophane tape. It gets you irritated & you will try to get it off your forehead using your paw paw.

You have to do this several times a day but not one hundred million times one shot coz that will get you booooored! So, quite easy right? Should be easy for most of you but for you short legged dogs may have a slight problem reaching your eyes. Heeheehee!

Oh yeah, after taking video of me, mommy had nothing else to do & she needed something to cheer her up. So guess what she did to my face?

Aaggghhhh! I have clips all over my face!

She said she's been laughing & laughing till her lungs were about to pop out of her mouth... Is this funny to you??? Well, I have to say, I do look freaky. Heeheehee... Mommy said I can win the Guinness World Record for the 'Dog With Most Clips On Its Face'.

Oh & don't worry guys, it did not hurt at all coz like I said, these clips are very soft & mommy only clipped my hair not my skin. It looks like I'm in pain but I wasn't. My lip got tucked in my mouth coz mommy was holding a treat above the camera. Teeheehee! So no worries! No abuse occurred during the shooting!

This week is just a DISASTER!!!

Hey friends! Sorry if I haven't been visiting all your bloggies like I usually do for these past few days becoz my mommy has been really busy with her singing for a competition that's coming up soon. I'll tell you guys more about this later but right now, mommy is not really happee with me becoz, well becoz...

Do I look entertained?

I FAILED my Intermediate Exam miserably today!!!! What a total embarrassment... I'm not feeling too shabby myself coz I'm disappointed too & I've already got a few whackings, jerkings & also ear twisting by her becoz I wasn't performing well this morning. My concentration was somewhere else & I lagged like 2 meters behind her while doing off-leash heeling. At some halts I didn't sit & during Distance Control, my mommy had to repeat the commands twice for each exercise. And when I was suppose to retrieve my dumbell over jump, I got distracted by something else. *sigh* And in total, I got 78 points out of 200. Please don't laugh. I guess today was just not a good day for me...

Oh, I'm sooo embarrassed... Don't look at me!

But on the good side, CONGRATULATIONS to my sista Chloe for passing her Pre-Novice exam with soooper flying colors! She got 98 points out of 100 & got 1st placing. At least she did well & I'm very proud of her.

Anyway, my mommy's not continuing me for Intermediate classes anymore coz she knows that this is as far as I can go & she can see that I'm not enjoying OB at all so thank you very much mommy! You've got that soooo right! After this, I may be enrolling for Agility classes coz I enjoy this sport much much better. And I have to brush up for the next Agility Trials next month.

Oh yes, I almost forgot. Another disaster happened on Friday when we were playing in our new & big shiny pool. While we were splashin' away, mommy saw two punctured holes on the side of it. She touched it & the hole became bigger. Then she said she watch it splitting apart, bigger & bigger & bigger & then BOOM! The whole pool exploded open! And all the water went gushing out straight into our home, into the living room & our hoomans panicked like hell but we were having sooo much fun running in & out the house, jumping on the couch. I was like, "Weeeeeeee! This is so much fun!" But then we were kicked out & tied up, boohoo!

Our bootiful pool almost got torn into half... *sob sob* No more pool!

Wow! It was like Tsunami hit our home. Really! I'm not kidding... There was sooo much water that it hit the wires, under cabinets, under the piano, practically everywhere! But the hoomans managed to sweep all the water out & dry up the whole place in an hour & mommy also managed to give us a bath after that. Phew! Why couldn't they just skip it...hehehehe! It was just a dumb catastrophe.

But here's another good news. About my mommy's singing, yeah. She's practicing some few songs & singing everyday just to get her voice going for a singing competition which is coming up next month, almost on the same day as the Agility Trials called One In A Million. If she's the winner, she gets one million dollars. Isn't that just awesome!? But but but, if she gets in, there'll be hardly any bloggin for me for up to 3 months if she gets to the end of the competition ofcourse. So please, don't forget us yeah...

So guys, please pray for her that she'll get through the auditions & also win the million dollars *cross paws* I know she can make it but she needs more support from you all! Hehehehe!

I've Learned a New Trick!

Hey friends! My mommy taught me the 'Shy' trick where I'm supposed to cover my eyes with my paws like as if I'm shy to look at the camera.

As most of you know, I'm a very very fast learner & can learn even the most difficult dance moves or tricks within 20 min max. My mommy said, this 'Shy' trick is not that difficult to learn but I thought it was. It took me almost a month to master this trick. Phew! And I can finally do it! Not pawfectly...Still have to work on it more.

So, in order for me to perform this trick properly, I have to be lying on my back. If I lay on my side, I somehow can't cover my eyes with my paw. It's a cute trick!
Mommy always laugh when I do this. Hope you enjoyed it!

Adora's Barkday Pawty & Faith's Ear

First of all, I would like to apologize to Simba, for not attending his virtual house-warming pawty on Friday night...I really wanted to. Infact, I already planned to attend his pawty when he posted that he was going to have one but I couldn't. I had to attend another doggie's Barkday Pawty on the same day at the same time! But I hope those who have attended his pawty had a great time! By the way Simba, I hope you're still reserving that glass of martini for me. Heehee!

This is Dora & she is as small as a cat except fluffy...We actually chased her around the whole porch & garden coz she ran & we thought she was a cat. Hahahaha! She went zooming really fast while screaming for help at the same time & hid under the car. It was soooo fun!

Okay! On Friday night, we attended a Shetland Sheepdog's Barkday Pawty (who we don't really know) & her name is Adora but her owner calls her Dora for short. Not many doggies & hoomans were there infact hehe, hardly any doggies or hoomans were there! Kind of sad...But my other friends' hoomans who my hoomans invited were busy with work & so could not attend. There were us, two poodles & Dora herself...

We sniffed here, we sniffed there, we sniffed everywhere! Hmmm...This must be Dora's cage.

Then wee peed & pooped on their grass. Felt much better after that! Ahhhh...

When we first entered their home, woooow! Their porch & garden was just awesome looking & biiiiiiiig! Even my hoomans mouths dropped all the way to the ground, kekekeke...It was really nice & they even had a big pond filled with beautiful kois like Butchy & Snicker's.
Mommy played fetch with us & we had a fun time running here & there. Wish our house was a corner lot too then we will have a huge land to run in. Weeeeeee!

After playing, it was time for din dins. Yum yum! They had spicy chinese fried rice, mee, roasted duck(drooooool...) & our favorite, CHICKEN NUGGETS! We had a lot of those...Yumeeeeeeeeeeee!

Here's me trying my best to beg for some food & she gave me a piece of nugget! Tell me, who would not give food to a pathetic gorgeous face like mine? I mean seriously...

Then our mommy teasing us with a nugget...Oh & luckily, NO balancing at all that night! Phew!

After eating our din dins, Chloe & me danced & performed some cute tricks. The audience enjoyed it! But both of our dance was a total complete MESS! Oh well, the messier it is, the more entertaining it is right? Heeheehee...

This was Dora's cake. It tasted better than it looked...kekekeke! Those writings are cheese & the cake was banana liver cake I think. Can't really remember...

And then I got some more! Yaaaay!!! We actually walloped most of the cake but Faith only ate the toppings & chucked the rest. So Chloe & me just stoled the remaining pieces...We also ate almost half of the nuggets in the tray. We are really starving dogs! Kakakaka!

After that, we took a nice group picture of all of us! Faith, look at the camera!

When it was time to leave, I didn't know how to say good bye to these sausages...yummmmmmm...

But mommy only gave me this small one. It's still wort drooling over for...Okay, I'm gonna eat you now. Bye bye sausage!

And The End!

Oh yes! I forgot to tell you about what happened to Faith's ear. She had an ear infection & she has been scratching her ear like crazeeeee until the inside of her ear was swollen & bleeding. And the part that has been bandaged was scratched sooo much that it bled too. Mommy bandaged it sooo that she can't scratch it anymore & when she shakes her head, the blood won't be splattered everywhere on her head. Her ears are much better today coz she went to the vet & bought some ointment to cure her ear.

She had to wear a home-made satellite dish made from a Pedigree poster we got free in our goodie bag on Dogathon day. But she doesn't have to wear it anymore coz her ear is healed...

Things I Lika Lika To Do!

My fuzzy friend Maggie has tagged me a looooooooong time ago to tell you all, what I like to do! So finally, here it is Maggie!

1) Where is your favorite place to sleep?

Hmmm...Okay, let me tell you where I do not like sleeping on first. Beds, couches, rugs, carpets, comforters, pillows, cloths or anything that's cushiony are big no nos!Also in my on t-shirt, on someone's lap & anything that is warm, I do not like! Becoz I already have fur & that's good enuf to keep me warm. Well, so now I'm sure you've already guessed where I like to sleep...

And it's called the FLOOR! Cold hard shiny tiled floor...Sweet!

I just took my bath today by the way & now I'm sooo tired...*snore*

2) Is there a specific trick your hoomans make you do to get treats?(WARNING: Hoomans not allowed to see this!)

Hmmm...I think I would spend my whole day playing fetching with my sistas & mommy! That would be a lot of fun...Anyone care to join us for some fetching?

A Retriever is a dog who fetches & retriever stuff right? Well...I like to fetch & retrieve things too but the things are not ducks, dumbell or a stick...I like to fetch/retrieve balls! I have fixation with balls...They are my favoooooorite toys!

5) If you could change one thing in your life, what would it be?

Hmmm...I don't really think there's anything I would wanna change in my life but there is one. I wish I didn't have hormone & hip problems coz it's totally not cool. I always look hair around my neck & thigh area when I go through my season. I really look like a diseased dog ya know, not pweetty at all! And my hips are just no good. I have a very pronounced sway when I walk but luckily I don't have hip dysplasia or else I won't be able to any dancing! My hooman are maintaining my hips with good expensive supplements. That's it I guess!

6) Bonus Question: What is the worst thing you've ever destroyed in your life?

Here We Come Dogathon 2007!

Hi guys! Sorry for the lack of posts these past few days but I was saving it for the doggie event, Dogathon which was held yesterday morning. Ooooh, it was my sistas & my very 1st time going to Dogathon & I had a fa-booooo-lous time there!!!

It was still very early & the sun was just beginning to rise. The weather was nice & cool too! When we reached there, we three had to have a free check up too by the veterinarians if we had any problems or diseases. We are very clean & well taken cared dogs like duh...So anyway we passed the test & was allowed to join the event! Weeeeeee!

Here was where my hooman had to register. My hoomans & my mommy each had to wear a tag to confirm that they paid. My sistas & I got free goodie bags each! I wonder what's inside. I'll show you guys later. Good stuff inside the bags...

Oh & then my hooman saw this doggie on the registration table. All I can say is, yikes! Looks like a clown to me...

There were really a LOT of people & doggies of different breeds...Wow!

Here we go! Errr, let's check out what's over there...

Firstly, my mommy, me & my two other friends, Scruffy & Ginger went to check out the stalls. We went to a tent where they had some easy games but very nice prizes which we can choose if we win a game. My mommy tried the 'Toss the Ring' game and she won! The prizes were nice. They had clothes, shampoos & pink doggles. But non of the clothes & doggles fit me so my mommy chose a nice rodeo girl blouse for Faith. Hmmppff!

I also joined a game where I'm suppose to sniff out food in one of the six cups filled with sand, stones & leaves. I manage to sniff out the cup with food under a pile of stones & I won! Hmmm, my nose is not that bad after all eh...But I only won some dewormer pills. Yuck! I'll show you later how Faith looks like in her rodeo blouse.

Oh, guess who came after that?

Yes! The Mr. Noisy Rossi was there with his mommy...

I was resting on the other side of the bench after participating those games. But here's him checking out Faith.

I also got to meet pweetty Yuki for the 1st time. She's sooo pweetty!

And not to forget, the Cassanova was there too! I didn't really say hello to them coz I was already very tired...Sorry guys! I also met Pacco & Groovy too.

Here's fatty fat Chloe chilling out...She joined the Fastest Eating Game with my hooman but they both didn't win. You should see how my hooman ate her pizza, haha!

My hooman really walloped that delicious pizza, yum yum! I think the kibbles didin't taste good at all & that's why Chloe didn't want to eat it.

Then Faith & my hooman joined the Emperor's New Clothes game where they had to walk around in a big circle while the music is playing & when it stops, the hoomans must run to a big box filled with clothes & run back to their dogs & dress them up quickly before the music starts again. And the dog who is best dressed wins. But Faith & my hooman did not win...So sad!

While they were still playing the game, I got to rest on the bench with some ice cold water...Ahhhh, refreshing! I was resting for the next game which is my favourite, 'Best Tricks!' Oh yeah bebe...

After the game was over, we all got to rest together & eat some Dominos pizza...Here, posing for the camera.

Now it was time to perform tricks! But we still had to wait till it was our turn...Chloe was number 10 & I was number 9 but strangely, they called Chloe when it was supposed to be my turn. Oh well, whatever! At least I still got time to rest for a short while more...

Chloe's performance was cute but a little clumsy...But it was okay becoz she has just started learning how to dance just a few weeks ago so this was considered good already. Nice wasn't it? Now check out mine!
How did I do? Heeheehee...I liked all the applause but as you can see, I was already exhausted so I kinda slowed down a bit but overall, I think I did pweetty good! Actually I still continued performing after my mommy threw the ball coz there was still time but my hooman brother thought I was done already & stopped shooting. Gggrrrrr...I performed more 'Flips' & then rollover & as a finish, I did 'Bang!' The audience laughed when I was dead coz I was exposing my sexy part, teeheehee!

I was totally pooped out after performing, phew! So, I decided to rest under the chair...The weather was becoming from hot to cool again coz it was about to rain.

The sky was really getting dark & when it was time to receive our prizes, it began to drizzle & then it rained heavily. Oh crap! But we still stayed put to receive them.

When it was time receive our 'Best Tricks' prizes, Faith actually won 1st place when she didn't even participated in it. Wahahaha! I had a good laugh...But of course you know who won, ME! And Chloe got 2nd placing...We were sooooo happee! After receiving those prizes, we ciao-ed home after the rain went down.

Our prizes! Nice aren't they? I got 1st placing for 'Best Tricks' game & 2nd placing for 'Agility Challenge' game. Chloe got 2nd placing for 'Best Tricks' game & Faith on the other hand, won nothing. Sad! You see those hats & bow we're wearing, those are the free gifts in our goodie bags. Haha! We look soooo funny.

A Freezing Night Out At Genting Highlands

Last Sunday night, we went for a trip to Genting Highlands with our friends. It was my first time being up there & oh my gosh! It's was freakin COLD! And thank god, my mommy brought us our jackets! Hehehehe...Because Genting is situated in a hill, up up high in the mountains! The road going to Genting was very steep & windy. My mommy & I had to sit in friend's hooman's car coz our lousy car could not take out weight & if we were siting in that car, our car would have reversed all the way down the hill & back home. It's that dangerous, I'm telling you all...

Anyway, we reached to a chinese restaurant to have our din dins. Not ours actually, the hooman's din dins. Hmmpppff! It took about an hour to reach the restaurant & we were only half way up the hill. We haven't reached to the tip of Genting yet! Hold on, hold on, we did go but let me finish this chinese restaurant part first...

Here's the chinese restaurant. It was already quite cold here so mommy put on our jackets & each of us have different colored jackets, check them out!

Poor Chloe wanted the prawn too but too bad, there was only one in my mommy's bowl. So mommy just gave her some plain rice...She liked it!

What about Faith? She just got a rawhide shoe which I stole it after she abandoned it...Teeheehee!

After din dins, we all performed tricks! Not only us two, but my friends too...

Designer dogs, Ginger & Scruffy had to do it too! Hahaha, look at Ginger's face, forced to stay still...

Shy girl Venus did it too! What's up with this trick huh? It seems like almost all of us can do it...

Then we had a group picture together! Wait, how many of us were there? 1, 2, 3, 4...Wow! Nine of us! Cool...

Then we said our good-byes to everyone who worked at the restaurant...We'll never forget you all! We'll be back soon...! Next, we headed higher up to a place where we all doggies can run free & play! Weeeeeee!

And no, we haven't reached totally up the hill yet but quite close to the tip of Genting...This is place called the 'car park' where we all got to run wild! Woohoo! It was already very cold up here compared earlier on at the restaurant. Time to fetch tennis balls!

Look at me! I was soooooooo excited when I got out of the car. You know, we've been running & running for about half an hour & I wasn't panting that much & still could go on for more! I think it must have been the weather maybe...It was nice & cold. I wish we could have our training there instead of the place we always have our training, it's sooo bloody hawt!

Oh yeah, can you hear my mommy & my hoomans shouting Faith's name? Yeah, she loves to explore on her own & just below the carpark is the main road & there's been some drifting going on(you know like Tokoyo Drift? Watched that dumb film before?) just higher up the hill & they were all very scared that she might be too confident & go out to the road or fall off the pitch black cliffs. She's like that so in the end, she was leashed up after that...You should see how sad she was after that. Heeheehee...

After that, we headed all the way up for some hot chocolate at Starbucks Cafe. But look what mommy & I saw when we reached there. Wooooh, it's soooo scawie. We're soooo high up & below is like a black hole & sooo misty too. Look up there! There are cable cars too but too bad, we doggies are not allowed to ride them. It was closed anyway...

Then we walked up the steep walkway & there we are! We reached the top of the hill! And we reached Starbucks Cafe too. Woohoo! I was sooo happy coz up here was freezing & my mommy at some point turned into a popsicle until her arms were crooked & frozen. I warmed her up with my warm body & then she melted back into normal again...She's got sooo much insulin like Chloe, I wonder why it didn't help, lol!

Mommy was having some hot chocolate drink to warm her up but unfortunayely, I didn't get any coz it was chocolate. So she just gave some doggie biscuits but as usual, I had to do this 1st...

Well whatever they are looking at, I'm just gonna snooze under my mommy's legs for warmth...

Poor Faith was shivering really bad on the freezing tiled floor eventho she was already wearing her thick pink jacket. So my hooman picked her up & put on Chloe's jacket on her too for double warmness. Oh & taht's Faith's head in the jacket's sleeve...So funny! But luckily she didn't get sick after that coz she usually does when she's cold, she will have to go to the clinic immediately. But she's fine today...

Later we drove all the way down hill & all the way back home. While driving downhill, we can smell burnt tire coz the window was open & cars are not meant to be driving like that & braking all the time, my mommy told me coz it can spoil the car but luckily, our car lasted the whole way up & back home. And guess what time we reached home? We reached home close to 4am. I was totally pooped out & just knocked out straight away!

Phew! what a great time we had!

I Can Retrieve Over Jump!!!

Did I mention to you all that I'm now in Intermediate level? Sorry, can't remember but I really am! And I can finally retrieve items my mommy asks me to! Retrieve over flat & over jump. I don't do it sooo well coz I don't really enjoy it, yuck! Especially when I have to hold things in MY mouth...(Mommy: So much for a Golden "Retriever" huh?) But I still do it when she asks me to so stop complaining lady!
Hehehe, I know I kinda look half dead in the video but that's how I show how much I don't enjoy it...And errrrr, that basket, I still haven't learn how to hold that thing altho the handle is right there on top of it. But I hope you enjoyed it & errrrr, have I mentioned that I am smart? I'm sure I have!

Oh yes! My hoomans, mommy, me & my two sistas are going to a place called Genting Highlands later tonight to eat, drink & to chill out. This is the only place in Malaysia where the air is very cold! Ahhhhh... how great! It's only an hour drive from our place to there. My mommy is bringing jackets for us, boohoo! She said it's really, really cold there & we might turn into popsicles if we don't wear our jackets. Will ask mommy to take pictures when we're there & post about it in two or three days time.
