I Was A Very Busy Dog!

Phew! After having a faboolous time at Butchy's campout overnight pawty, I had to leave very very early in the morning the next day. Everydoggie else were still snoring away when Aire Ruby came to pick me up & fly me back home. I reached home just in time to leave for another doggie event.

The doggie event was organized by puppy.com again. I was actually picked to do quite a lot of demos. It was a LOT of work for me! The event was actually supposed to start by 8.15 a.m. but it was delayed until 9 a.m. The sun was already up & the air was getting hot to even do anything... I have no idea why they delayed it. It really made my hooman M mad.

It was still nice & cool at 8.15 & it was just nice to start our demos.

We took shelter here becoz our dancing field was just behind my hooman B.

The first demo was a performance by my sista Chloe & my mommy. This was Chloe's 1st time ever & she did fairly well for a beginner.
The crowd was a bit dead yesterday & hardly anyone was interested watching. I don't know what happened but still there were some who applauded. She did well... Then it was turn after that.

I didn't do too good actually. My performance was so so only. Infact, I did better during my practice on the other days. Must have been the waiting & the heat. This is the performance that Rookie & Carolyn Scott did three years back. I know I'll be as good as Rookie soon. He has been dancing for years & I have only started dancing last year so I have time to improve... Hope you all liked it!

Anyway, after the dancing demos, the first game was called Footy Run Run or something like that. Chloe & my hooman joined that game for fun but did not win anything. My hooman was supposed to kick a ball straight to the finish line without it going out of the line or Chloe biting it. They actually made it to the semi final round but then my hooman kicked the ball out & so...

When the whistle blew, she was the 1st to blast off!

After that game, the next game was The Fastest Recall & Faith & my hooman M again joined this. Faith ran very fast like a Greyhound but still could not beat the short legged Poodles. But she did win 3rd place. Not bad!

After the two games, my friend Odie & I had to do Agility demo. I thought the equipments were placed sooo far at a corner that hardly anyone could see & the equipments were arranged too close.It wasn't that easy running around that course but I did okay. After that, I had to do a Flyball demo. Eventho I was already running out of breath, I still managed to do it nicely, twice!

While it was going on, we got to dip in the lake to cool down. It was soooper HOT that day!

Ahhh... I think I feel much better now.

After that Faith joined the Best Dressed game & guess what? She actually won 2nd place! Congrats to her!!! She wore a prisoner costume which my hooman M ordered from UK. She even had a fake chain & ball attached to her leg. Hehehe, sooo cute!

She was convicted of 4 counts of murder.

The little girl with her Shih Tzu won. I think they just find them adorable that's why...

Later my sista Chloe & I had to go around holding baskets to collect donations for SPCA & PAWS. We pweetty much did not like the idea of holding the baskets in our mouths but I did it anyway. Chloe hardly held the basket but only did it when she sat down.

Money money money!

Almost everybody gave a donation but some of them were very generous to give RM50 & RM10.

I dropped it a few times so mommy kept on forcing me to hold it again & again!

After collecting the donations, we counted & we had RM700++. Not as much as before but not bad... Those hoomans are so kind! Immediately after that, there was a K9 police demonstration. We liked the part when the Malinois jumped on top of the van & grabbed the guy's arm.

Wow! Not bad...

The demo was actually tooo long coz after it ended, many people left so I was asked to do another demo to get the people to come back. I performed some OB & cool tricks. A few came back, I think...hehehe!

Anyway, the games continued but during the middle of the Musical Chairs game, it started to rain & so we all had to end the day. We on the other hand, got to play in the lake again.

It was fun swimming in the rain. But then the rain stopped after a few minutes & it was hot again...

I had alot of fun swimming but I kinda like buried my ball here. Can you help me to get it out?

I was a really really busy dog yesterday & that's why I had no time to join any games or even say HI to my friends. But Chloe & me did get prizes for the demos. I'm soooo proud of Faith though. This is her 1st time ever winning prizes, by herself! We had a great time but I think I need to continue my beauty sleep now. Bye friends & nite!
