Big, Big Day For Faith!

The big beige teddy from Xin Yin, the blue puppy from Yankee,
the treats from Boo & the small teddies from us.
Last night we had a Chinese New Year party as well as Faith's second 1 year old birthday party. It was a big day for her! Yesterday was a perfect dry day becoz it didn't rain. Thank god for that! Becoz here has been raining like cats & dogs non-stop for the past few weeks already...

Many people my parents invited turned up as well as those I've invited. And guess who was there? Boo, that's right! Boo Casanova was there. Oh, he was so cute! Bouncing around like a little boy, taunting Arun the Miniature Schnauzer to play with him. She rejected him though...
The higher the toss, the better the luck!
The first thing we all ate was YeeSang! Oh! My favourite...I'm so addicted to it! Then we moved on to the main course which was Spaghetti, Belacan with raw vegetables(Ulam) & some stuff our neighbours brought. Would like to thank them for that! The first thing everybody loved was my mom's special Chicken Carbonara Sauce & as well as my dad's Bolognaise Sauce which has red wine in it. Arun's daddy had many servings of it but he almost died from eating my lethal belacan. Hahaha!

All dogs had to be caged or leashed up while the humans are eating...
Or else, there goes something!
After all the food were digested, Amber did a non-choreographed perfomance. Totally freestyle! It was a total mess though but it was partly my fault too coz I wore slippers & Amber kept on stepping on it. My Clo Clo also showed off her cool horse dressage. Everybody was impressed with them both especially those who have not seen Amber dancing before...

Yum! Yum! Dallie cake...
Then it was time! Yes, it was time for Faith's cake! Damn, I didn't take a picture of it before it was cut up. But here it is...That's her homemade Marshmallow Cherry Chip cake. I made the Marshmallow cream & deco myself. And don't worry, the spots are not chocolate. It's just colouring. Each and every dog & human had a taste of it. I must say, it was delicious although a bit too sweet...My darling Faith received quite a number of pressies from her doggie friends. And she would like to thank them:

Boo Casanova
Yankee & owner Shawn
Xin Yin & her Mom

Everybody enjoyed themselves. But Faith was actually confused on that day. Sigh...She'll always be like that! When the party was over, she knocked out straight away on the comfy couch. We sure had fun & I know our dogs did too!

Coca-Cola Girl

This is the only coca-cola drinking dog in the world! Well, at least I think so...Everytime & I mean everytime, whether she's busy playing with her other sistas or just chilling out in the porch or even sleeping, the moment you open a can or a bottle of coke with that sound, 'tsskshhhh!', she'll come running and even jump up from her sleep & run into the kitchen to get a sip of it. And when she's done drinking the whole can, she'll normally burp loudly just like we humans. Kinda gross actually...

Foxy We Miss You Already!

She just look so sad...
Yay! Foxy's been adopted by her new chinese owners...Although she was a little devil in the house who loved chewing my hands till blood comes out & nipping at others who came close to her food & barking at neighbours together with the others, we kinda liked her alot! I mean despite that she's a lost mixed breed dog & you know, pariah dogs were never our favourite but she was just a friendly little mutt! Chloe & her were good friends. They both loved to kill each other everyday...I think she also grew a bit. She wasn't that happy being taken away by her new owners but she had to go. We had no choice. Here's the last picture we've taken of her...We miss you dear! Have a good new chapter in your life & please, don't get lost again...Good Bye!

Adopt Foxy Lady-ADOPTED!

Above: Before & after bath. This cute puppy who we named Foxy Lady Gong Xi Fa Chai, came running towards us while we were walking the dogs. At first we thought it was a fox coz it looked like one but actually it's not. I don't know what breed it is but I think it's a mix...
Anyway, she had a orange collar on & she was soaking wet after the heavy rain. She came to us like she was so desperate & was so happy to find us like we were her owners. At first she was scared of our dogs when they lunged at her to meet her but after a few seconds of sniffing noses with them all, she was okay with them. Her temperament is beautiful! I can say she's about 4 months plus or maybe older.

Nice Dalmatian markings under her tummy...
I've just given her a good bath, cleaned her ears & checked for ticks & fleas. Surprisingly, she's free of ticks & fleas! She seems to be in good shape, not sick, no ear mites, looks like she's been eating well, full of life & energy...What more can I say? She's in good condition! She was very hungry though when I gave her some kibbles. She ate like there was no tomorrow! She's a very people dog. She's extremely friendly to people & other dogs once she gets to know you all. She needs to be adopted ASAP!!! If interested, please call Helena at 012-914-7868.

Major Shedding...

This is only half way through...
Aiyoyoh...Chloe's shedding like mad! She's loosing all her baby fur...Well, not all yet but she's gonna be bald soon. Just like Amber! I brushed her thoroughly last night hoping to get rid of most of it so that we don't have to keep vacuuming the house everyday. Oh & while in the proses, I combed out a disgusting bull tick. It was already half dead becoz the day before, we put on Frontline for all of them. But I wasn't about to spare its life. So then, I decided to be mean to it. Yes evil mom! I took the Frontline spray...and SPRAYED AT IT! Wahahaha...it died instantly. It was fun killing it...

I Loved You The Moment I "Spotted" You

Firstly, I would like to thank Pacco & Amanda for this great spotty birthday card to Faith. Below here are some pictures of Faith in a Dalmatian background too...It's actually a Dalmatian chair & pillows we bought since we shifted here. We actually have a 'Dalmatian Corner' near the bay windows in our house. We like spots!

Faith's not that camouflage though...

Happy Valendoggietines Day everyone!

It's a bit late now but heck, my dad just brought back nice roses last night from a function so I decided to take pictures of my dogs holding the rose. They're actually looking for a date to go out with. Don't worry, they're single...Benjamin & Boo, interested in any of them?

Faith's 1st Barkday!

All three of them looked worried when we sang the birthday song...
Happy Barkday & Valentines Day to you my darling Faith! She's finally one year old, yipeee! But why is she still so small & stunted? Hmmm...We'll never know.

Her birthday was a last minute thing coz we actually forgot to buy her a "real" cake from the
bakery shop hence, we're too busy with school & work. Immediately when I came back from my sports training today, I prepared Faith's cake. Actually it's a cheap square fruit cake bread I bought from the bread man last night that comes every Wednesdays to sell his stuff. I just cut it into the letter 'F' using a knife becoz her name's Faith. It wasn't that difficult actually. Here, I'll give you the 4 easy steps to make a non-expensive but tasty cake for your dogs. It doesn't have to be a cake from the bakery shop, a bread will do!

Step 1 -
Buy a flat square shaped cheese/fruit/butter/whatever bread & just cut it into any shape you like or maybe into a letter that's straight forward & easy to cut into like example, the letters 'F' and 'E'.
Step 2 - To make the sweet butter icing, you'll need 7 full tablespoons of icing sugar(sifted), food dye(optional), 2 big tablespoons butter or margarine(softened), 2 limes or a few drops of vanilla essence. Mix the icing sugar & butter together using a spoon till creamy. Stir in a few drops of food dye & the lime juice or vanilla essence. Once mixed nicely, use a fork & whip it violently till it turns to a creamy color. The whipping helps the cream to have air bubbles in it hence, it'll be thicker, fluffier, creamier & tastier! I learned this from a pro on tv...
Step 3 - Apply the whipped buttery cream on top of the surface of the cake & sides. Use a knife to do this.
Step 4 - Once done, be creative! Decorate it with some sweets & cornflakes...whatever! Just use your imagination. But remember, no chocolates...

Once t
he cake's ready, put it in the fridge for an hour. Once nice and cold, take it out, poke a candle into it & you're ready to serve! It only takes an hour to make it. Nothing difficult...Plus, nothing much to wash too! On the left: Chloe enjoying the last bit of Faith's cake. She's a sweet tooth girl...No wonder she's fat! Oh & by the way, Happy Valentines Day to you all doggies & hoomans out there! May your loved ones feel loved by you...

Amber walloped her cake without even chewing. She's crazy!

You'll still need to hand-feed her, no matter how tasty her food is...

Gong Xi, Gong Xi, Gong Xi Nee Ya!
Finally I've taken down last year's Christmas decorations & finally have bought & put up new and glittery Chinese New Year decorations. Wow, I must say it's very very red & very grand looking! Our house looks much like a CNY decorated hotel lobby...LOL!

Oh & one more thing, Faith our miniature Dalmatian's Barkday is coming up soon! Oh, finally she's gonna turn 1 year old but yet she's still very small for a Dallie. Oh well! Any Birthday wishes for her, anyone?

Two cute piggies inviting you into our home...

Gong Xi Fa Chai to all the chinese folks out there! Actually I don't know what that line means...heeehee! But hey, if anyone of you would be so kind to tell me what it means, please do. Anyway, may all of you have a good chapter in your life & a prosperous 2007! Happy Chinese New Year!

Oh & if anyone would like exchange e-cards with us, we'll be glad to!

Hire a Performing Dog for your Party!

Are you looking for a talented performing dog to perform at your party? If yes, hire Amber-Mae, Malaysia'a 1st dancing Golden Retrievers who can perform a variety of neat tricks & interesting dance routines for your party.

~Amber-Mae aka Solid Gold Dancer~
This Golden Retriever was born to dance! Even though she excels in dog Obedience & Agility, Canine Musical Freestyle is her forte. Amber started OB training right away at the age of 3 months & has now reached up to the level of Intermediate. She has never once failed in any of her OB exams & was always a top scorer. She's also doing very well in Flyball & Agility & we are concentrating on upping her performance in dance & show.

Amber is an incredibly fast learner. She picks up a trick within 10 minutes. She understands very quickly what's required by her & perform it in a jiffy.

Amber wowed the crowed with her dance performance at the Puppy.com K9 Carnival held on 14th January. The crowd was so fascinated with her dance moves that they yelled, "Encore! Encore!" So Amber did the dance again. She was also voted for her beauty & that's why she won 'Miss K9 Malaysia 2007' & the 'Most Intelligent Dog', beating 100 over contestants to the titles & Amber was only 15 months old at that time.

Amber is still the youngest dog in her OB class at Intermediate level & is possibly the youngest Golden Retriever that dances in Malaysia. She is our star child!
