Hey everyone, guess who's back? It's me, Amber-Mae! And boy oh boy, do I have EXCITING news to share with you all!!!!!! And yes, the above picture is of me & my son, River posing with our trophies, certs & bags of dog food that we won at the competition! Yours truly (yes, that's me) took 1st & 2nd place in Freestyle Novice with scores of 57/60 & 52.5/60 respectively. River managed 2nd place in HTM Novice with a score of 53/60.
Unfortunately, it's not so great news for Chloe. She ran out of the ring because she got terrified of the umbrella that Melissa's mom used as a prop in their routine. Chloe never liked umbrellas but our hoomie tried desensitizing her to it & she was fine with it after that. But on rehearsal day, she was accidentally hit in the snout with it & so she got scared of it again. At one point, the judge came up to my hoomie to tell her that their routine was actually very lovely & that she felt terrible that she could not let them 'pass' because Chloe ran out of the ring. Chloe & my hoomie did not go home empty handed though. They did get a consolation prize.Anyhoo, here are some pictures & videos of us & our friends boogie-woogieing on the dance floor! Oh, all those videos were so much fun to watch. Congrats to all. Amber Mae, River, and Chloe, we think you all did magnificent jobs. And Chloe, you did so very well, maybe next time that umbrella won't scare you so much. Your humans are good dancers too.

I actually thought River's was the most interesting htm I've seen, usually the freestyle with all the flashy moves grabs the attention. That that Amber and Chloe weren't fantastic too cos they were!!
