The "Clean Up" Trick & Gifts Galore

Here's the trick I told ya guys about. I learned it many months back but never took a video of it. So here it is & I hope ya'll enjoy it. I am learning a new trick at the moment but it will take some time for me to master it. It's a hard one...


Recently, we have been receiving lots & I mean LOTS of gifts(besides cards) from a few of our friends! I think this is the most we've ever received within two months. Whee! So here it is, in no particular order...

Gifts from Sami, Baylee & Family!

Chloe is LOVING the bullysticks! Her eyeballs almost popped out when she saw all of them! She has already almost finished one.

Mommy got some really yummy smelling gourmet color pencils! Each of them have their own flavour & they smell so real! Too bad they aren't edible. Hee!

And then we met some new friends who are from Pet Paradise. They send us some really nice stuff! Oh, our hoomans think we look sooo cute in them. Thanks guys & we hope to meet you guys some day.

And last but not least, a big gift from The Four Musketeers!

Chloe liked the collar so much that she wanted it. I think I have too many already which some I have not worn yet. It's so pretty & it reflects when lights shine on it! Mommy loves the buckle. It's unique...

Packets & packets of delicious Zuke's treats! Mommy loved the mini peanut butter ones so much, she almost ate half the bag. Hello? It's for us & for dogs only.

Chloe actually received another package from her BFF honey bunny Cody. But she ain't gonna reveal what she got becoz it's exclusively for her only & only for her to see & have. Here's a steamy picture from hers truly. Oooh she likes him...

We wanna THANK you all so very much for the wonderful gifts! You guys are just the best!!! We wish we could give you all a kiss but it's just too impossible coz ya'll live too far away. How about a flying kiss? Heehee!

Merry Christmas!

Wow! I can't believe it's already Christmas. How soooper excitering! I also cannot believe it's 9 days away from 2009! Time sure flies fast. And I can't believe we have no snow. What?! And where's Santa? So anyway, what did we get today for Christmas? Presents? Neh. Dog park? Forget about it. Hugs & kisses? No way. But we did get a nice droolsomely delicious din dins. That's what I'm talking about bebe...

Okay, forget about that wall part behind me. I ate the paint when I was younger. Just one of those puppy cravings ya know...

We got chicken rice, jellyfied chicken feeties, potatoes, pumpkin & a sprinkle of kibbles. Oh, we LOVED it! Thank you Mommy! You're the BEST! Hope there'll be more to come soon.

And Merry Christmas to all my furry, not so furry & probably some really hairless nekkid friends too! Hope your Christmas was as great as ours!

Grooming the Fat Golden Retriever named, Chloe

Hey guys! Sorry that I've been slacking this week. Don't blame pitiful gorgeous me. Blame the not so fat fat woman(Mommy that is) who kept on hogging the compooter & would not help me update my blog nor visit you guys. But I'm back now & will drop by all your blogs after this.

So, Chloe & Faith are getting ready for their 3rd Conformation Show which will be on the 1st week of next year. Mommy has already groomed Chloe this evening just to get ready. Mommy purposely groomed her early so that she will not look sooo unnatural with all the blunt cuts here & there when the show starts in two weeks time. Below here are pictures of her during her grooming session. Mommy is no professional groomer nor has she gone to any grooming classes. Mommy just learned how to show groom Goldens by reading & looking at pictures online & also just by looking at other show Goldens. Sometimes Mommy makes some silly mistakes but most of the time she gets it right. BOL!!! Boy, am I GLAD I'm not entering for this round!

So what gadgets do you need to groom a Golden Retriever? The basic stuff ofcourse & also a toy & a bag of treats to reward the dog while grooming & after grooming.

Here's a pair of fat Golden Retriever feeties. One has been trimmed neatly while the other one waits its fate. Chloe's nails has grown so long(blame Mommy for neglecting it) that the woman can't really cut it short enough. According to the dog show rules, the dog's nails shouldn't be touching the ground. Oh well! The judge won't be analyzing the feeties so nothing to fuss about.

Here's the finished product. BOL!!! That dog at the back looks very familiar to me. Chloe's legs are kinda skinny compared to my muscular well build *ahem* yeah anyway, Mommy has bought some really kool products that can pimp her skinny legs up a bit. But that will only be done on the day of the show.

Chloe doesn't really wanna go for the show. She'd rather sleep than run around in the ring several times & look pretty. She'd also rather be a real DOG & roach on grass instead! I like the sound of that too.

Mommy has been practicing running & stacking Chloe & Faith everyday. She wants to make sure the two have the perfect gait & stack during the show. They have to look their best to win. Just one more Challenge cert for Faith to become a Malaysian Champ while Chloe needs two more Challenge certs or six more Reserve Challenge certs to become a Champ. Chloe's got lots of competition out there!!! Wish them luck!

Christmas Carnival, Almost Dognapped & Whipping Cream Ooze

Ikano is having an outdoor Christmas Carnival till the end of Christmas so we all thought why not drop by just for fun. When we reached there, it was terribly dead becoz it was a weekday. But there was a thin crowd of people who absolutely adored us especially Chloe.

One dood fell in love with Chloe so much that he tried to dognap her. No bull-poop! While everybody was admiring us & talking to our hoomans, the dood just picked up Chloe's leash quietly like a mooth criminal & walked off with her calmly & Chloe was so silly enuf to follow him! Our hoomans noticed & trailed him from behind. Then the dood turned his head & smiled at them & still continued walking. After that my hoomans asked him to hand back the leash & he did. Then the dood just disappeared. We noticed he never left Chloe. The moment he saw her, he just fell in love with her & I guess he wanted her soooooo badly that he tried to dognap her. I mean who could blame him? Chloe is very attractive besides me. Hee! And she is an easy prey...

Booths were selling some goodies but no doggy stuffs. Boohoo!

Inside the shopping complex was a Christmas Forest. Too bad we doggies were not allowed inside coz it looked like a lot of fun!

Yesterday my hoomans decided to have fun with the Whipping Cream that they bought. Mommy made a video of it. Mommy thinks it is sooo damn funny that she can't stop laughing each time she watches it. I actually think so too. Whee! Enjoy laughing!

Pool Pawty With Samara Joy!

First of all, my Mommy would like to thank you all for your encouraging words. She was sad when she didn't even make it through the pre-audition round. She actually talked about giving up immediately after she was rejected but after that she decided not to because of all the great support you've given her!

Now, the moment that you all have been waiting for. Meet our new younger or maybe older sista, Samara Joy but we all just call her Joy for short...

She looks like a mixy but she is a pure Golden! Looks like a Labrador now becoz she is still kinda bald. Hee!

She was found near a dumpster area near our home. She has been there for three days with no one claiming her nor feeding her. She was in terrible shape when we found her. She had maggots, bruises, tick fever, lots of ticks, skinny, she stank, matted, mangy looking & all that unpleasant stuff but surpirsingly, very hyperactive even in that horrible condition. She had to take some medications & had to be seperated from us for about 2 weeks. She was then brought to the groomers for a quick shave & bath. She looked & felt so much better after that!

The reason why she is called a Nutso is becoz she is! She is so hyperactive that she cannot stop moving. Every part of her body is wriggling like a worm. The doctor said she is a full adult becoz of the condition of her teefies but we say she is only about 1 year plus or maybe 2 the max. They are in pretty bad shape but it's getting cleaner each time my Mommy brushes it with some special toothpaste. But she really acts like a notty 6 month old puppy! I don't even remember myself being like her when I was a puppy.

She has no microchip in her. She probably belonged to some backyard breeder who later decided to chuck her for some reason. So mean. But now she's very very happy with us & we all get along together very well! Normally I don't mix well with other dogs of the same breed as me but somehow we both clicked. Heehee! She is incredible in Obedience. She is a natural at it & she enjoys it very much. Mommy started training her from the 1st week she was with us & now, it's barely even three weeks but she can now go off-leash & she sticks to Mommy's side like a velcro, watching her the whole time. Loverly! She is wayyyy better than me!

Look! Compare our sizes & structure! Eventhough we both are fully grown adults, she is way wayyy smaller & leaner than me. She looks nothing like a normal Golden should look like right? But my hoomans don't care. Even if she's gonna be known as a non-pedigree by the Malaysian Kennel Association when she enters trials. We all love her no matter what she looks like or is known as!
