Obedience & Agility Trials

Last Saturday, we went to an Obedience & Agility trials hosted by Pet-n-You. It was held in a shopping complex. We woke up & left early to find parking space but it was very difficult for us to find the loading bay where dogs were only allowed to go off. When we went inside, there were already quite a number of people & doggies & the place was sooo nice & cold coz the air-conditioner was on.

Just chilling & waiting for the event to start... That's our friend Groovy, the famous dancing JRT & Agility pro. Me & Groovy used to be enemies but now we're cool.

Later we moved inside & waited beside the ring. We waited for quite some time & I was just enjoying the air-conditioner that was blasting down on us...

I didn't know what to do after a while so I started meditating just like what Angel Herbie does best. Ommmm...

Pre-Novice started 1st & they did the sit & down-stays 1st. Can you see Faith in the distance?

Here's a video of Faith in action...

I think she did very well. Her left turns are much better now after our mommy taught her how to do her left turn properly & sharp. Her recall kinda spoiled it. She did not sit in front of my hooman M when called & my hooman M had to repeat the finish command twice. But anyway, she got 4th placing!

When it was Intermediate time, I was already sleepy coz I waited for approximately 7 hours till it as my turn. Who will not be sleepy by then?

When it was my turn, I did quite badly. I did some clown acts which got everybody laughing. I always make mommy look bad during an OB trial coz I hate OB! Not that I don't know my commands, I just want to act stoopid. I told you blondes are not dumb... I mean since the rest did sooo well, I thought I'd just spice everything up a little. People have got to laugh too right? Heehee! Check out this movie my mommy made last night.

I learned a new trick! My style of doing the Broad Jump. Why jump over it w
hen you can walk across it? Gaps are already given so why waste all the energy to jump over it right when you can walk through it? Hahaha! You can see that I did the rest well.

Mommy thinks the only reason why I did not jump over the jump to retrieve my dumbbell was becoz of the mic. Look at my eyeballs! I'm freaked out by it...

Ahhh, this is the best! No doggies can ever do it as good as me!

Well, ofcourse I failed! But mommy has no hard feelings as she only entered me just for the experience. She said entering me for Pre-Novice & Novice all the time is just too boring. She said she's gonna work harder on me now for the next trials.

Later on, it was Agility time! I was soooper doooper excited! Elementary started 1st & then Novice. I entered for Novice & when it was my turn, I was over excited till I couldn't execute some of the hurdles properly & so was disqualified during 1st round. For the 2nd round, I did much better & executed most of the obstacles well but lost when I jumped over the last hurdle, the wrong way. Ooops!

The table sure was high! Luckily I managed to get up the A-Frame this time no
t like before. I was clinging on to it for life... You can see the mistake at the end. I think I'm such a clown that day!

After that it was Basic Jumpers & Faith entered that. She had to be on-leash becoz she has this habit of running away from mommy. They both ran as fast as they could!

The 1st round, Faith cleared all the obstacles smoothly but during the 2nd round, she knocked down about two or three hurdles. But still, she won 3rd place! Not bad not bad for a 1st timer! Mommy always thought she had no potential but she was wrong...

Here's an action shot of Faith. Nice huh? Hopefully next time, she'll be able to go off-leash.

Here are the winners for Basic Jumpers. Pacco 1st, Ginger 2nd & Faith 3rd. Look at that Faith yawning away...

And then we all participants had a group picture. Oh yeah btw, Chloe won 3rd place for the Best Tricks game. I did not join it coz I had to pee badly!

Here's the cert faith got for Obedience & a trophy for the Basic Jumpers Agility. It was faith's day for sure, not mine. Congratulations to my sista who we always thought had no potential but we were so so so wrong!

Celebrated At Boat House Restaurant

We just came back from din dins. We celebrated Chloe's 2nd Barkday at a new restaurant our mommy just discovered called Boat House. They allow dogs there but only small to medium sized but since we're very well behaved pooches, the manager allowed us. Btw, we had our bath today too.

This was where we sat. The manager allowed us to sit inside so it was sooo kewl! Can you spot where Faith is?

We celebrated Chloe's barkday 1st with a home-made yummy-doodle-doo-yum-yummy Meatloaf cake coated with cheese...

Becoz Chloe is the burpday girl, she got the 1st piece 1st. I got 2nd then Faith last. Shouldn't I always be the 1st to get anything???

Mmm, I love meat... We absolutely loved the cake better than the rest that our mommy has ever made (sorry mommy but that's the truth) becoz it's made with 90% real minced beef mixed with oatmeal bread, raw oats, egg & milk. Yummy right?

This was the 1st dish our hoomans ordered. I tried a little bit of it & it was nice coz there's chicken inside of each of those round brown crunchy stuff.

Then they had these squishy looking creatures. I think they're called oisteers? These stuff smelled really funky... I don't know how my hoomans can eat those.

Faith was wondering what the heck is this...

This was mommy's dish. She had some grilled chicken with mozzarella or something like that... Chloe wanted some but mommy said no.

While our hoomans were enjoying their meal, we doggies got served with filtered water & biscuits. I didn't like the biscuits at all. Chloe ate all of them by herself. She's on a strict diet by the way & she has already lost 3 kgs within 2 weeks. Not bad huh? But today my hoomans didn't mind her getting fat becoz it's her barkday.

She liked those biscuits...

My hooman M ordered some steamed Frankfurt chicken sausages for us. It came garnished with some raw greens & cherry tomatoes. Yuck! We only want the sausages not those...

Mmm, that smells like heaven... We only had one each. My hoomans ate the veggies for us, keke!

See we both trying to fight for that piece of sausage. Heehee!

Chloe has a fan here & this person is crazy about Chloe only. So ChloeFan, this is for you!

Our hoomans ordered some pancakes for desert. This chef fella was doing the cooking & when he poured some wine into that pan, the whole thing flamed! Woohoo, pawsome!

This is the aftermath. Some flamed pancakes served with oranges & vanilla ice cream. We didn't get to try any becoz mommy said we've eaten enuf...

After we were done eating, mommy wrote a message on the piece of white paper that was placed on the table. Crayons were given too for kids to draw on it. This was what she wrote...

After paying the bill which cost up to RM235 (yeah, not that cheap), mommy made us pose on the stairway.

This is the front view of the restaurant. Sorry for the blur picture. Mommy's hands coulsn't keep still... Anyway, the food was nice, we got alot of pats from the manager herself & the waiters. We even met a new doggie JRT friend. She's one of the frequent customers there.

We sure had a great day today & I hope you guys did too! Obedience & Agility trials are coming up this Saturday so mommy's been brushing up my OB becoz I'm entering Intermediate level. Eeek! God save me...

Sploding Water Bloons!

We played water bloons this afternoon & it was a lot of fun! Poor Faith was not allowed to join in the fun becoz she already took her bath hence, mommy didn't want her to mess up again. This is actually my 2nd time playing water bloons again after such a looooong time!

Mommy brought out a bucket filled with water bloons...

Hmm, I want this one but it's sooo heavy!

Mommy then scattered them all around & we went crazeeee!

I went after this orange one.

But it was sooo hard to pick up coz it was slippery!

And then, there was these two lying on the floor... Which one should we go after 1st?

Chloe managed to burst it in no time. I went after that blue one next!

Grrrrrr... I'll sink my teefies into you!

This was the last big one!

Yeap, we sploded it very fast! The bigger the bloon is, the faster it will burst. The smaller ones were harder to burst actually...

Yeap, it has officially dieded...

Wooh! I love stretching it... Heehee!

See how looooooong I can stretch you...

More bloon stretching!

Later on, I had to help mommy clean up the mess.

I even had to carry the bucket filled with sploded bloons to her... And what was Chloe doing all along? She was just resting. Gosh, no wonder she's phat!

Here you go lady... Now, can I rest too? Guess what she replied me? No, bath time & you're first! Hmph!

Take A Nap Trick

Snoooooooring away...

Hi there guys! Sorry that I was MIA for about a week. A LOT has been going on! No, I'm fine & my poop is back to normal again. But my hoomans are in a lot of stress right now hence, could not find time to help me blog. I had to change my blog URL becoz this crackpot has been harassing my blog & was leaving very mean messages in my cbox...

Anyway, remember last month I mentioned that I was learning my new tric
k? Well, I sort of like mastered it but mommy is happy with my progress now. Mommy is also finding time to work on my OB & Agility for the upcoming dog event but she seems to be quite "busy" nowadays with her new job... Anyway, here's my new trick!

Hope you liked it! It took some time for me to get the idea of picking that blanke
t up & holding it till I lay flat on the floor. As most of you know, I HATE holding stuff in my mouth especially stuff that are not round & bouncy. So hence, I hate retrieving. Heehee!

Oh by the way, mommy has started using the clicker again after reading an article in Diesel's blog. I am more responsive now & my tail wags whenever my mommy uses the clicker. I can't wait for the next command everytime!

I have to hold it till mommy releases me by clicking the clicker.

Hey, who switched off the lights?!

Hehehe! Have a great weekend guys. I hope my hoomans can solve this problem soon coz I don't like to see them stressed & upset. We can sense when they're not happy...

We're Pooped!!!

We headed straight to Ikano immediately after our training was over for a new Pet Magazine Launch. The magazine is called Petster. When we reached there, the parking basements were totally full & so my hooman M had to park outside beside a Recreation Park. We didn't mind it at all!

Here's us strolling in the park. There's a huge lake just on the left side of Chloe & when she saw it, she wanted to jump in! But too bad that the rocky hill was too high for her.

My hooman M & Faith disappeared out of sight when mommy finished snapping pictures of us two... We gotta find them Chloe!

We managed to find them after that. Faith was taking a dump...

It took about 5 mins to reach Ikano but we enjoyed our little stroll in the park! We then used a very big & spacious lift which says "Pets Allowed" to go all the way up to the pet shop called Pet Safari.

When we were inside of Pet Safari, we collapsed & slept while there were many admirers stroking & taking pictures of us. Mommy tried making us do tricks but we were just too tired to do anything. I did my tricks as slow as a snail...

A big crowd surrounded us & I was not all that happy about, not like always coz I just wanted to sleep peacefully! That little boy there admired Faith a lot & tried to coax her to play with him but she was just not interested. Poor boy...

After resting for some time, we headed to the Petster Launch. Man, there were a LOT of people but sooo very little dogs & it was sooo stuffy in there eventhough there were fans swinging above us.

This was where we settled. Gosh, look at Faith's huge mouth! Reminds me of Joey's... I wonder what she was trying to say.

Mommy bought a new hot dog stuffie for us which had discount. She bought it at Pet Safari... Chloe looooves stuffies!

I was just chilling on the culvert...

Meanwhile, mommy brought Chloe to meet some little kittens that were up for adoption. Ooh, see her ears perked up? That kitten hissed at her many times...

And then, it was lunch time for us! My hooman M bought a big can of dog food for us to share. Boy, we sure loves it! Yummy!

Each of us took turns. Ofcourse I had the 1st spoon 1st becoz I'm the alpha... People were quite fascinated seeing us dogs being spoon fed like little children, hee!

There were dog activities while we were having our lunch & the 1st game was "Most Intelligent Dog". Dogs had to perform a series of tricks & there's only one winner. Here's Chloe performing the "back up" trick. Three of us entered but none of us three won. This is the 1st time I've not won the tricks game but like I said earlier on, we were tired & just didn't have the mood to perform at all. Another dog won & that dog deserved it!

After the games were over, mommy went out to buy some mineral water for us becoz we were turning into dried jerkies! But when she came back, she had this bloated freaky-looking red Poodle dog in her hands. Damn, I hate balloons but she made me pose with it. Later on, she gave it to a kid becoz she herself is scared of balloons especially when they pop!

It was getting too hot for us & we were panting away so my hoomans moved us closer to the shopping mall entrance where there was this very cold breeze blowing at us. It was much colder outside than being inside the mall.

Later, mommy asked Chloe to do the honors of donating RM1 to support the homeless doggies in SPCA. Mommy would have donated much more but she had the last dollar left in her purse then so that was all she could offer but that's good enuf to help!

Many people surrounded to see & even photographers took pictures.

After that, mommy brought us to this lady groomer who does free grooming for doggies & kitties. Oh, Chloe & I got shaved on the butt area & under our nice smelling feet.

Our ears got cleaned too. Oh, why this torture of all days!

Around 5 p.m., there were demos done by the pet-n-you squad & doggie fashion show too! The demos were great & Groovy's dancing was entertaining! His poor daddy was soooo exhausted after one round of dancing but then he had to do an encore again, heehee!

Here's a group picture of all of us doggies! The Akita beside me was rescued by my hoomans & today, she's a bootiful dog! We treat her as our sista...

When it was time to ciao, our hoomans made us pose with these two freakish looking clowns! Gosh that fella was about 10 feet tall!

We sure had a great time but I'm so so so exhausted right now that I could sleep for 2 days straight & do nothing else. I gotta catch up with all your bloggies actually & guys, my poo is back to normal! Thank you all for your nice comments & advices. I will eat rice next time when I get it again...
