Fizzy Dizzy Busy...

It's prrrrractice time!!!

Hey guys! I've been very busy for the past few days & will be busy for this whole week because because because... next Sunday, there'll be another doggie event(I know...phew! No break) & I'm picked to do a few demos even my sista Chloe.

We both will be dancing. It will be Chloe's 1st time but this will be my 4th or 5th time now. Chloe will be doing the easy basic moves coz she's a beginner & I'll be doing the advanced stuff. We've been practicing everyday & here are some pictures of us doing our stuff yesterday afternoon...

Me circling backwards... Mommy says I don't do this smoothly coz I always tend to slam into my her legs all the time & then she'll loose her footing & fall like a clumsy blob, heeheehee!

Then it was Chloe's turn. Okay, the new tricks that she has just learned? She can circle back(she does it neater than me. She always does it slow & steady), back up & reverse. Considered not bad already. Oh, she's also working on her 'Flip' too...

Now today, we went for training. I just stopped OB classes & now doing agility training coz I enjoy this sport much better. It was my 2nd Novice class today & I'm doing better each week! My trainer said, I'm really fast at weaving. Heeeheee!

I'll be doing Agility & Flyball demo too. And then after the demos, I'll have to go around holding a basket collecting donations for SPCA & PAWS. How so not cool is that? I hate holding baskets but nevermind. I'll do it anyway...

How did I do? Made a few mistakes here & there but overall I was good right? Groovy & Pacco, I need some feedback from you two. I wish I can be as good as they both, soon. There are too much sharp turns for me but guess what Sparky? I'm not scared of the see-saw anymore! Yippeee!

Guys, have you heard about Rookie the Golden & his owner Carolyn Scott before? Actually, my mommy & I will be doing that Grease routine during the event coz we both just simply love love love them both & that routine. They both were famous for that routine but Rookie, has already retired & I think we doing this dance, will be a good tribute for them both. What do you think? They were actually the ones who inspired us to start dancing. They both are just sensational!

Well, I just hope we both will be able to do good performnace on that day. Wish us luck guys!

A'Famosa, here we come again!

Hey friends! Sorry for taking too long to post about my trip. My mommy has contracted conjunctivitis in both her eyes so she didn't have any mood to help me blog. Her eyes are sooo disgustingly red & she is feeling very uncomfortable. She has gone to the clinic already & her eyes are not hurting as much as yesterday but they are still red & swollen. Hope she will get better soon...

Okay, now about my fun fun fun trip! Last Saturday, we went to A'Famosa for a howliday & a doggie event. My hooman booked a condotel room there(the same room we stayed in last year) I liked the room alot! It was small but very cozy. Why? Becoz there were air-conditioners! Woohoo! My dream come true.

We got to play in the corridor coz it was empty. It was fun chasing each other up & down!

After checking in & settling down, we decided to try out some of the activities in A'Famosa itself. There were many but my hoomans decided to go for a pony ride before the event started at 4pm.

Chloe was barking at Misty but Faith & I wanted to ride on her too! We barked & whined non-stop but my mommy did not allow... Awww, not fair!

After horse riding, we headed back to our room to get ready for the doggie event. Weeeeee! The event was actually just a few metres away room our condotel. So we actually could have just walked there but we decided to drive there.

The event actually started at 5pm. The first game was called 'Simon Says'. I find this game the 2nd funnest besides the 'Best Tricks' game becoz this is a game where hoomans make the silly mistakes. Not us doggies! We doggies just do what the hooman says but if they make us & themselves do dumb mistakes, then we are loosers! I joined this game with my mommy & we were top 4 or 5 but then my mommy made me stand when she was not supposed to so, we got kicked out!

The second game was called 'Best Dressed Dog'. My hooman asked a tailor to costume make my costume. It was a graduation costume. Quite a number of doggies joined & all their costumes were nice too!

Gosh, I look sooo geeky... While trotting around to show off my costume, my shoes, my sleeve, my spectacles & my pants were falling off. Oh, how embarrassing...

The next game was the 'Fastest Recall'. Faith & my hooman M joined. Faith was actually was the fastest but then ran off to play with her Rhodesian friend. So, she was not qualified for the semi final round... My hooman M was not happee at all! She also joined the 'Waggiest Tail' game but stopped wagging after a while so, no trophies for Faith, again!

The 5th game was the 'Longest Sit Stay' game. Mommy & I joined this. We doggies are required to sit & stay for as looooong as possible without breaking.

Here we all in our positions... Mommy gave me one nice tug before asking me to stay.

Slowly, all the hoomans had to increase their distance away from us. Each time they increase, one after one dog breaks.

After that, there were only me & my friend Scruffy left. My mommy then asked to go out of sight. A man came up to me teasing me with treats. I ate some in his hand but still maintained my position, so did Scruffy. He called me to come towards him but I refused becoz when I'm asked to stay especially when my mommy asks me to, then I do it to please her.

After a minute or so, Scruffy broke & I won! Yippee-doo-dah! This was my 1st time that I actually stayed while out of sight.

The next game was called 'Puppython' where handlers & their dogs were to run one round around the condo & who reaches the finish line, wins. My mommy made me join this game so my handler this time is my hooman B. The man always do the running right?

When somebody blew the whistle, we all ran as fast as we could! We were actually ahead of everyone else but then... my hooman B fell & injured himself really badly. He fell on the rough road. I actually ran off but then I turned around & realized, that my hooman B was no longer running with me. So I ran back to tell him to get up, get up! But then he couldn't. He was bleeding all over so we didn't continue the race.

The last game ofcourse was the 'Best Trick' game. My favooooooooorite!

Hear all the applause? Oh, I just luuurve applause from the crowd. They loved me! They really did... Mommy just taught me to jump over the hoop the day before. I'm actually very terrified of it but after a few rounds of practice, I'm not so scared of it now. And who won? ME won! Chloe also joined & got 2nd placing. Lucky her!

After the event was over at about 7pm, we all got to run wild in the field & play with our friends. Then when we headed back to our room, we were like...

...this! Soooo pooped out & hungry.

So we got some wet food to eat! Okay, doesn't look very tempting right but it was delicious!

Okay okay, I know you all can't wait to see the trophies right? But wait wait, patience. Our howliday hasn't ended yet ya know? We actually extended one more day to have a longer howliday coz since my hooman drove all the way to A'Famosa, mise as well right?

So the next day, my hooman M & B brought us for our toilet walk.

We had a looooooong walk!

Then later, we had to stay in the room by ourselves coz... My hoomans got to have fun! They went for go-kart race. My hooman M said that my hooman B was a maniac driver! Hehehe, I'm sure he was.

For din dins, we had KFC! Yum yum! I had one whole chicken breast for myself... *lick lips*

The next day on Monday, it was time for us to go home. We had to check out at 12pm but we check out around 2pm. My mommy gave us a bath. But 1st, we got to play in the bathtub. It was sooo fun!

We sure had a fabooooooolous time there! We will definitely miss A'Famosa but we'll be back next year, that's for sure!

Our Pool Came Back to Life!

No, I'm just kidding! Our pool didn't come back to life & anyway, how can it come back to life when it's not alive & breathing right? Hehehehe... Silly me!

No, what I meant to say was, my hooman bought us a NEW pool again! Yeah, she bought us a new pool the week after our precious new pool exploded. Remember that incident guys? Yeah...

Anyway, today we got to play in our new pool but but but, yes there's a but. When my mommy took the folded pool out from the box & unfolded it, she noticed that some parts of the plastic sides were bent & she also found one part of it was already broken. Awwwww, there goes our new pool again! But no worries, she taped the parts with some kind of brown tape & when she filled the pool up till full, it didn't burst. Phew!

Hehehehe! I kinda stepped on my hooman brother's foot. He was in pain, poor fella... He is always the one who is getting injured all the time, I wonder why...

Later, my mommy came out with a basket full of tennis balls. Woot! Woot!

Then she threw it all in! I didn't know which one to choose becoz they all looked exactly the same...

So, I decided to put two in my mouth. Wish it was much bigger so that I can fit ALL the balls in my mouth!

After that, we all stood rock still coz mommy had something in her hand.

Oooooh, another stuffie to murder? I walked off to continue playing with my tennis balls coz I was just not interested in stuffies at all...

A few minutes later, it looked like this! Gosh, it's nose has been mauled off by Faith. Can you see all the guts hanging out of it? It gives me the heebee jeebees...

Here's some evidence for you. She's a real stuffie killer! She also killed the tiger stuffie by the way...

And look at our pool! It was full of stuffie guts...

We played in the pool for quite some time & we were satisfied! I hope we can do this weekly but mommy complains that the water bill will be expensive coz iy uses alot of water... Who cares! We are not here to worry about the bill. We are here to play pool! Haha! See our satisfied faces?

But after that, we had to take our stinking baths! Gggggggrrr...

We Just Luuuuurve Waterrrrr!!!

Yesterday, me & my whole family went to a place one hundred over kilometers away from where we live called Kuala Kubu Baru(KKB for short). I almost barfed in the car, hehe! It takes about 2 hours to reach there but takes a much longer time to reach back home. I have no idea why...

Waiting for others patiently...

But 1st, we waited at Central McDonalds for the others to arrive. While waiting for them, we had breakfast. It was mommy's breakfast actually but she said it didn't look like breakfast at all...

I disagreed! The scramble eggs looked really gooooooood... See me staring at the eggs?

After a few minutes, others arrived & they included Prince, Pacco & Money. We were surprised that there was a lot of hoomans & doggies. We thought it was just a small group. I think there were about 30 hoomans & 20 doggies including us too!

Later when everybody had arrived, we all tailed each other's cars. My hooman doesn't know the way to KKB so she just followed the rest. After a loooooooooong ride deep deep inside of nowhere, we finally reached our destination after 2 grueling hours in the car! Man, my butt was really flattened...

Beautiful ha! The reason for being there? See the waterfall? Yeap! There was where we were heading to! Woohoo!

It only took a few minutes to reach to the waterfall & look! Chloe wore a red bag pack! Mommy said, make her do all the work since she's sooo fat. Kekekeke...

We couldn't wait to get into the water & we just jumped in like no doggie business! Weeeeee! Chloe was sooo impatient that she pulled & the bag pack came off her! Ooooo, my hooman was real angry but luckily the clip did to break.

The water was not very deep but it was deep enuf for us coz our feet could not touch the ground. We didn't go near the waterfall area coz there were alot of slippery rocks in the water & my mommy was scared that our legs could get caught between the rocks & boulders.

After swimming for a good one hour, we all took a break & had some lunch. There were mainly finger foods & my mommy even brought some tuna sandwiches & piggy cookies. Why called piggy cookies? Well, that's becoz the cookies are made into piggy faces. You can see the recipe & pictures my mommy posted it here.

I got one too & it was yummy but it tasted nothing like bacon... We also got some frozen liver, nuggets, sausages & a bit of my mommy's tuna sandwiches. *lick lips*

Didn't I tell you there was a LOT of people & doggies? By the way, you see that lady there with red hair? Well, that's my hooman. I know, yikes! Look at her hair! Hahaha! Ooops, I better zip.

And look! I saw this Golden puppy who looks exactly like Chloe. This fella looks like the slimmer version of her...

After our break & lunch, we jumped back into the lake & swam for another good hour. Somehow, I wasn't tired at all for more or maybe perhaps, I knew that we will never come back to this place until a few months later only. So I took the opportunity to swim & swim & swim till I drop dead!

This time my mommy joined us...

Faith was really shivering in the water so my mommy had to rescue her & bring her back on land...

We stayed back for a few more minutes while other head back home. We were there for about three hours or more & then my hooman said that it was to pack up & go home. I was like, awwwww... My hooman dried us up but after that, we jumped back into the water. Hahahaha! She was not happee...

Faith was soooo ready to go home coz she was shivering like mad...

Mommy made me carry my own leash all the way back to the car but I didn't mind it at all... Forgive my mommy, I know her voice is soooo annoying in that video. I am sooo obedient to listen to what she says. That's what you get when you have a well trained dog! Hehehehe...

Welcome Goldie!

Remember last week I mentioned in my cbox that mommy has adopted a new Golden puppy. Well here she is!

Okay I know she's not real but we consider her as our new sister!

I know she's a cutie but I don't like her that much... We haven't got a name for her yet. Mommy's now calling her Goldie but she says that name is too silly! She prefers hooman names.

After my mommy adopted her, she immediately gave Goldie a bath & then groomed her dry. Look at the amount of hair! She sheds more than Chloe...

Uugghh... Can you please move her away from me please?

*sniff sniff* Poof! That bathing sure didn't help in getting rid of that milk smell ha?

Chloe & Goldie were best friends instantly!

Did I Tell You That We Are Winners?

Hey there friends! I'm BACK! Did you all miss gorgeous me? Heeheehee... Ok, let's get on with it.

Look at all of our prizes! This should last up till the end of next year, hehe!

Yesterday was a great day for me & my sistas coz we each won prizes at the PetnYou Dog Carnival. This time it was not only me who won prizes. I'm so proud of my sistas... At least now I know that they are not really losers. Kekeke!

This is our place. Under a nice big shady tree... Recognize that blue mat? Hehehe, it's not really a mat. Mommy cut that piece off from our swimming pool that exploded two weeks ago. Haha!

But later, we shifted here. Closer to where the crowd is...

Even Faith wore one. But later she & I took them off coz we were not allowed to wear them during our trials.

Anyway, the first game I actually entered was the Agility trials. My mommy didn't want me to enter for Obedience again coz she & I know that there are much much better dogs that can perform way better than me. I'm just not into OB that much. I find it a booooring sport. Actually it was my mommy who made it boring. Hehehe... Ooopsy!

We were there very early about 7.40am but we waited till 10 something before it was my turn. It was really becoming very hot by then & I was just not in the mood to walk around anymore. Mommy kept buying some confection ice cream coz she couldn't find any booths selling drinks when actually there was one. She is soooo blind!

The hoomans rearranging the obstacles for the Novice Agility. I joined that! Looks hard doesn't it? It wasn't that hard actually but alot of sharp turns, lol!

It wasn't my turn yet so mommy saw this scawie looking clown & she asked him to make me a balloon hat. And she chose color red for me coz that's my favorite color but no, I don't like balloons & hats either...

But she still made me wear it & look like I have some growth growing out from the back of my neck. Boohoo!

And then suddenly Rossi's mommy came out from no where & wanted to pose with me for a picture! She thinks I look sooo funny. Hmmppff!

Anyhowl, later when it was my turn, I was already not in the mood to run & jump coz I was so tired & feeling really hot. The sun was really getting in my eyes. At my first attempt, I did ok. I only missed three hurdles but when I did my 2nd attempt, I missed more than 5 hurdles & was hanging on for my dear life on the A' Frame. It was soooo steep! I've never been on a steep on before & there was not much grip for me so I just kept on falling backwards but I still kept on trying but still could not get to the top of it. Mommy was real worried that I would fall coz I am a heavy dog & could just break a bone easily eventhough the ground is grass. So anyway, we skipped that obstacle & when to do the weaving poles. I just took my own sweet time & did not miss any poles. Am I a good girl? Sorry, no pictures of me performing coz my hooman brother aka photographer did not come coz he was lazy.

And when I was done performing, mommy gave a sign to the judge that we've given up. Mommy don't blame me for performing like that. She blamed the sun for shining too bright & being too hot. I was soooo happee that it was over. So now my mommy says, no more Agility or OB trials for me if it's going to be under the hot sun. I think I'll perform better if I did it in a air-conditioned room. Ahhhh... But at least I got a bag of goodies for participating in it.

Faith was about to perform the sit-stay. See them? And can see how bloordy hot it was? Can't blame her for not doing well too...

Faith on the other hand, joined the Pre-Novice OB trials. She did not do too shabby herself too coz the sun was burning her body & her feet. She had to sit, down & stand stay under the sun for about 5 min in total. No doggies can take that... She was too very happee that it was over & when she got to reunite with us two again.

After we rested, we joined some interesting games. The first game was called David & Goliath(The smallest & The Biggest K9s) Chloe joined that game. At first she was the biggest(and the fattest) dog who joined. Then later a Rottweiller joined who was even bigger than Chloe. Then after that, a Afghan Hound joined who was even taller than the Rotti but after that, a Saint Bernard joined & he was even much taller than the Afghan Hound. But then... a Harlequin Great Dane joined & he was the tallest & the largest of em' all! There was no more hope for Chloe coz she was the smallest of the largest dog category, hahaha! It was so funny...

WOW! With the record of 44 inches high! Pacco's one soooper doooper jumper!

The next game was The High Jumper. Faith joined that game but only managed to get 2nd placing coz her 1st attempt, she jumped over the hurdle but kicked the bar off & mommy almost crashed into it too. Congrats to Pacco for winning 1st place! She was really a soooper jumper! No one can ever ever beat her, nu-uh!

After that, Chloe joined The Longest tail game & she won 1st place. Her tail was measured about 15 inch long while Prince won 2nd placing & his tail was 1 inch shorter. Luckily no Great Danes joined this game coz their tails are very loooong! Phew!

The next game I joined was called 30 Seconds To Fame. Oh I just LOVE tricky tricks game coz I get to show off my new tricks each event I join! Each of us only had 30 sec to perform as many tricks as possible. I managed to cram in four tricks only & I ofcourse did my famous 'Spinning', the 'Flip', the 'Shy' trick & 'Bow'. And ofcourse, I won! Heeheehee! Chloe joined too but did not win anything.

The next game Faith joined was the Temptation Recall. She only got 2nd placing for it but that's good enuf! She still couldn't outrun the smaller dogs with shorter legs. Hehehe! And the last game I joined was called the OBgility Race but not win anything. It's okay! I already got enuf stuff. Hehehe!

Finally got to meet Max. He is so handsome but so timid but was such a well behaved boy... I like good boys not notty boys who like who like to hump me!

Oh yeah, we also got to meet almost all of our Malaysian DWB friends! But we did not see Goofy, Benjamin, Yuki & Amber there. But I know Amber did go but we just so happen not to see each other. I met Boo again, my dahling Rossi(I gave him an army bandanna yesterday), Maximilian Dex(he's so timid but handsome), Molly(she's sooo skinny), Money, Groovy(the star of the day), Pacco, Prince & Bosco. It was almost like a whole DWB reunion! Hehe...

Man, we were so pooped out after the carnival was over!

Later we got to run free on the other side of the park where we can't disturb people packing up stuff & taking down the tents. We suddenly got energy again to run! Weeeeee!

After running around & after my mommy buying a few more ice creams, we headed straight home. Check out our car boot!

When we reached home, mommy filled out our small swimming pool with a little bit of water for us to lie down in & cool us down. She even gave us a big bowl of cold ice water with ice cubes.

This pathetic small pool can only fit one dog...

I wasn't that interested coz I just wanted to close my eyes & SLEEP!

Later when I woke up at night, I realized that I have not eaten anything the whole day. My sistas already ate their lunch but I haven't... So, I got a special meal last night for my hard work! *lick lips*

Let's see what's inside my bowl? Spaghetti Mee, raw egg, Mushroom Sauce with mushrooms, rice, stewed pork, kibbles & melted butter. I was soooo hungry that I just ate it. It tasted okay... No great shakes. Not as tasty as my pasta meal! *slurp slurp*

Me do 'Skidboot' Trick

Last night my mommy made me perform the 'Skidboot' trick. Why call it 'Skidboot' trick you ask? Well becoz, this trick was performed many times by a famous cattle dog named Skidboot living with his owner David in Texas. You can watch him performing at Pet Star here. He's just amazing! So amazing that I wanted to try out myself too...

Okay I know, I'm not as perfect as him but I just learned it. So do expect to see me making a few mistakes in the video. Put the volume up so that you can hear my mommy's commands.
How did I do? Hehehehe... I just couldn't wait to get that ball in my mouth. But I think I need to practice more & listen to my mommy more too. Like everydoggies say, practice makes it pawfect! Oh & I like the ending part. I knocked the camera & the camera knocked my hooman brother's nose. Ouch!

Now, today I got a chocolate bar as a reward. A really rock hard chocolate bar! YUM!

Oh no... I have to balance it on my two paws. Well, luckily I don't have to balance this heavy treat on my nose. Phew!

Pasta Fiesta!

Yesterday afternoon, I noticed my hooman was making some pasta. She made two kinds. One was Alfredo Pasta & the other one was Spicy Mushroom Pasta. At first I thought it was their din dins but they didn't eat it. They started putting the pasta & everything on a plate & started taking pictures of it. Then suddenly I realized that few days go, they were talking about starting up a Spaghetti stall next week or something like that.

They decorated the table with raw spaghetti, fettuccine, pasta & with some garlic & stuff... I like to eat the pasta mee raw. It's really nice & crunchy! CRUNCH!

This was the first pasta they made called Alfredo pasta. Actually it was supposed to be made with the twisty pasta mee but what the heck! Must be creative right? Looks very tempting doesn't it... Yum yum! But NO! It's not for me. It's for my hoomans to eat. Booo!

This is the Spicy Mushroom Pasta. Mmmm... Colorful & delicious!

I stared at it hoping that this was finally mine. But still NO! It was still theirs to eat. Gggggrrr... Fine then! I waited for the next to be served to me patiently...

But mommy did give me one small pathetic piece of pasta mee...

And a squishy mushroom... Yum! It tasted good! But where's MY food???

And there is mine FINALLY! Mmmm... Let us see what's in my plate.

There's the pasta mee, melted butter, kibbles(eew...), yogurt, fried pork lard, cheese & most importantly, the Alfredo sauce! Did I make you drool already?

Hurry up woman! I can't wait any longer! Hellooo there cheese...

Notice me licking my lips all the time? Heeheehee... Oooh, it tasted like nothing in this world! Mommy calls it Pasta Special coz it's special. Like duhhh... Tell me, how many dogs in this world get to eat something so delicious like this? I'm sooo lucky. Oh & did you hear what mommy said in the video? She said that that will be my last meal for this month. That's not fair! I protest! For more pastas! Kekeke...
