We are HOT DOGS eating Hot Dogs!

Hi my friends! How are you all feeling? I know we all are still sad over Oscar's passing but I realize that we should also feel better that he's no longer in pain & that he's free up there now with other doggies, kitties, hammies, squirrels & other animals to play with & chase after. He will always be remembered in our little hearts.

So today, I'm posting something new that maybe could help to cheer you guys up a little. Let's turn today's Monday from a gloomy day to a happy day again!

Okay! Yesterday afternoon after coming back home from our training, Chloe & I got to eat HOT DOGS! Yummy yum yum! Faith didn't want any so she got to eat some rice with melted butter.

Ooooo... I want the bigger one please!

Okay, time to chop chop! Let's see who can eat the fastest...

See how we walloped our bread? Not bad eh! But I lost... That fatty Chloe finished hers before I did. Now everydoggies, can you see why Chloe is fat now? I actually got less stuff in my plate but yet, she finished first. Actually, mommy said eating our bread like that is strongly discourage coz we can get chocked coz you know, we don't chew our food properly. But unfortunately, that's how we Goldens eat & for the last time, we will not get choked! We know how to eat our food, thank you!

Our dear friend Oscar, has just passed away this morning due to some blockage.We will truly miss our wonderful & funny friend Oscar! No other dog in this world can ever replace him. I can't stop tearing up here, so sorry. Run free in heaven dear...

Pressies from MY darling...

Hehehehe, guess what showed up at our gate few days ago? YES! A postman with a parcel in his fat hands! Woohoo! Mommy took it, signed it & gave it to me to sniff it. I sniffed it & was wondering who it was from... Hmmmm, smells like Rossi. But I couldn't confirm that that was his fragrance, so I just had to rip it open & see it for myself!
It IS from Rossi!!! I'm just having sooo much fun ripping up the bag! I'm concentrating more on the bag than the pressies, heeeheeeheee!

We are Winners! Yes we are!

Last night, we were invited by a friend for Bentley & Keyla's Hi-Tea Barkday pawty. We don't actually know them two but we went anyway to celebrate. We arrived there kinda late coz we were very exhausted after a looong day of training. But we did have four hour rest at home but for me, it wasn't enough. The other reason why we left late was also becoz of the rain. It started raining when we were at training around 9am & it lasted until midnight. And then today, it rained again... *sigh*

There were many doggies there but hardly any join the games...

Our friends were there too having fun...

Anyhoo, when we arrived there, we were JUST in time for the Best Tricks game & I knew this is not a game for me to miss out. So mommy & I quickly rushed in to join the game. Only four participants joined & they are me, Chloe, Faith & another doggie in dress.

When I performed, everybody applauded & there were pup-arazzis taking pictures of me performing, heeeheee! I did my new trick called the 'Flip' too. Ooooh, they loved it but unfortunately, mommy's head was blurr at that time & she didn't make me perform other tricks that I'm also good at. Chloe performed the 'Sit up' trick & 'Weave'. Faith on the other hand, did performance but my hooman's commands were sooo strict & firm, Faith freaked out & got scared a bit, it was so funny! I can't really remember what the other dog did coz we were sooo rushed & we were all confused! Aaaaaand as predicted, I WON 1st place & Chloe won 3rd place! The prizes are sooo cool! Yeeehaw! I'll show you guys later...

Then Faith & I joined the Longest Sit Stay game. Faith actually stayed still without moving anywhere but me & my friend Scruffy went down. And we two are highly trained dogs. Ooopsy! But anyway, I was kinda tired after training so I considered that as a good excuse to go down & sleep on a nice cold floor. But I did get 2nd placing & won one of those drinking bottles. I'm proud of Faith for winning 1st place! This is her 1st time winning 1st place in any games. (Boo, you should be proud of her too...)

Then the last game, Faith & mommy entered together called the Dog & Owner look-a-alike. But they both didn't win anything but my friend Scruffy did! He & his owner are good partners! They both had the same cute faces too! After all the games finished, the birthday dogs sang their barkday songs & we all get a piece of their delicious moist liver carrot cake, yuuuuummy! We also got to eat some hooman food!

Then each of us had a our pictures taken by a photographer. He said he'll send the pictures to my mommy's email but he hasn't today. We just have to wait for them, can't wait to see them! Bet they'll turn out nice.

Next, we headed to Plaza Damas to have a drink & chill out. We didn't get any drink, crap! But luckily we got to sleep under the air-conditioner, heeeheee! Then later, we went to the Pet Store to buy some stuff. And when I entered the pet store, something caught my doggie nose senses. Nope, not the treats, not the toys. These stuffies!

Or should I call them fluffies? What are those???

Oh wait! Is that you Girl Girl??? No, it can't be you coz you live on the other side of the ocean & no way you're that big.

Mommy said that these fluffies are Guinea Pigs. Well, whatever they are, they sure smell good! Mmmmm...

Okay okay, after that mommy was kind of hungry & so we went to a Korean Restaurant to have our din dins. Well, not really ours, theirs actually. And don't worry my friends, they didn't cook us! This Korean Restaurant is SAFE, I think. This is what they ordered...

This restaurant is called Sa Rang Bang. What ever that means! Hope it didn't mean, Eat Dog Stew. Oh, for the love of God!

All together we got two beds & two drinking bottles! The beds are sooo comfy but I don't like beds that much so Faith can have them both! Aaaand the drinking bottles? Errr, just keep them for future purposes. Nice aren't they!? Hehehehe...

Hey my pals! How are your weekends? Mine's not going sooo good coz it's been raining for three days solid. But luckily yesterday afternoon(before it started raining), my hoomans & mommy brought us out to a huge park to run around. We enjoyed ourselves chasing after birdies, chasing each other, wrestling & fetching our tennis balls. But my hoomans & mommy were suffering from mosquito bites. There was like a huge swarm of them trying to suck them dry but luckily after a while, they got fed up & went back somewhere into the trees. Don't know where they came from...

Now time for books! Miss Precious tagged me to show you all my favorite books that I enjoy reading. I have a few actually but they all are mainly about dogs. I have a few too that are about tricks & dancing stuff... Here, check them out!

Here are a few of them... I like to read books about other dog breeds & stuff coz sometimes I wanna know more about my other DWB doggie friends & what are their characteristics, their history & so on so on. Oh & yes! I also like reading the encyclopedia of cats too coz I get to know them better since those kitties don't like me getting to know them personally so I read from the book. Atleast it's safer & I won't get any swiping from those stinky cats. Hehehehehe!

Then there are these books that I enjoy reading too. It's all about Goldies! I just think we Golden Retrievers ROCK! Good stuff...

Then this sad sad book about abuse, neglected & abandoned cats & dogs. It's really sad & some pictures in there are bit graphic. I see mistreated Goldens in there too *sigh* Wish we can do something for them.

Aaaaaaaand let us not forget! Tricky tricks books! I luuuurve them & these are the books that I've learned some of my tricks from like the rollover, speak/bark & BANG! I also have one of Mary Ray's dance books for beginners. That's more suitable for Chloe. I'm already in the advanced stage!

Kentucky Fried Chicken + Durians = Farting!

Ooooh last night was the most delicious night ever! My hooman(my mommy's daddy) brought home a BIG BIG box of spicy crispy Kentucky Fried Chicken!

I call them my 'dead meat'. Coz they're meat & they're dead! Hehehehe...

And my other hooman & my mommy brought home two large bags of stinky, mushy, rotten onion durians!

Anyhoo, our din dins started off with some spicy crispy chicken! As usual, I got the 1st serving before Faith & Chloe. Woohoo!

Faster... Give it to me, before I drool all over your leg...

Oh gee... After all that waiting, I only get a pathetic small piece? That sucks! I'm going off to somebody else who will give me a BIGGER piece. Hhmmppff!

Okay, next was durians! Last time I used to hate those mushy stuff coz the smell was just unbearable. But that night, my hooman stopped giving me anymore chicken coz she said that I was eating too much. So I just couldn't take it & just started licking the durian that was in my mommy's hand but still starring at my hooman's chicken, just pretending that the durian is the chicken. I know, how pathetic but it was that bad! But after that, I kinda liked it & I wanted more & more!


It wasn't that bad you know... It was quite delicious!

That's a lot of durians... I think I'm gonna fart like hell tonight!

It has been raining cats & dogs for a few hours & I can't go out to play & have fun... How booooring! All I can do now is just eat, chew my raw hides & sleep.

Oh & I'm sorry if my pearly whites scared you. But aren't they super white & clean? Come here, smell my breath!

Okay anyway, back to snore snore now! I'll try to find something fun to do later tonight after I wake up. Ahhhhh! Maybe murder a new toy. Now that's a great idea! Heeeheee...

Learn New Tricks & Wonderful News!!!

Hi there my friends! I'm back!!! Sorry for not posting anything new for a loooong time but mommy & I have been quite busy lately so do forgive us for the lack of updates, heeeheee!

Anyhoo, my friend Luckie da' Dachie got nominated for July's Awesome Blog Award too! I'm sooo happy for her! And in her previous post, she compiled a list of reasons why we as her friends visit her bloggy. And in one of the reasons, she listed this down:

"You enjoy watching me play BANG with my Mom. I really need to work on my tricks. Just look at the tricks my friend Amber-Mae performs!!! By the way, Amber is also nominated for July's Awesome Blog Award so GO Team AMBER!!"

Soooo anyway, I told her that I can give her some tips on learning new simple tricks & for you other doggies out there too who are just as interested! I've got a few here, ALL of them are not hard! It's just how much effort your hoomans put in to teach you these tricks. She here it is!


1) 'Sit Up' or 'Sit Pretty' or 'Beg'. They all are the same actually but it depends on your hoomans on which command they prefer to use. This trick is quite simple to teach & this trick is NOT recommended for those who have hip or any joint problems(like me) & errrr... also those who are overweight! Hehehehe...

This is Chloe demonstrating to you how the 'Sit up' trick is done.

Step 1 - Put dog against a corner or a straight wall so that it knows its back is secured & will not fall backwards when it is doing the trick.
Step 2 - Stand in front of your dog, very close & lure a treat or a toy above its head slowly & when the dog lifts both front legs up to get the treat or toy, say 'Sit up!', praise it & pop a treat in its mouth or reward it with its toy. Doesn't matter if its sit up only lasts for one second, just as long it's doing it, then it's good enough! Repeat this for 5 repetitions & give it a break.
Step 3 - Stand close to your dog again & lure the treat above his head & say 'Sit up!' & when he lifts his both front legs off the ground put its both paws on you. This will teach your dog to balance & to sit up straight. Repeat this for another 5 repetitions & give it a break.

2) The 'Doggie Dressage' trick. This trick is quite simple. If you already know shake(both paws) then, there's no prob for you to learn this trick! (This trick may be easier for the medium & large sized dogs like Chloe, Me & Faith)

Here is Chloe again demonstrating to you how the 'Doggie dressage' is done.

Step 1 - Put your dog in a sit position. Kneel down close in front of it, & ask it to do shake; both paws. Give them a new command instead of 'shake', 'paw' & 'the other hand', etc. If you ask your dog to give you it's right paw, introduce it a new command. Say 'right' & for the left paw, say 'left' or what ever command you prefer to use. Keep doing this a few times & then give it a break. Don't forget to praise it & reward it too...
Step 2 - Stand in front on your dog closely, & ask it 'shake' or 'give paw' using your feet(for shorter dogs) or knee(for larger dogs) instead of your hands. But don't use the same commands you use to ask them to shake with your hands. Use 'right' & 'left' or others commands when asked to do this 'doggie dressage trick'. Do this for 5 repetitions & give it a break. Once it has no problem shaking your feet or knee, it's time for the next step!
Step 3 - Sit your dog. Stand beside it in the heel position. Ask your dog to give you it's right paw saying 'right' using your hand 1st whilst lifting your right leg at the same time too(this require you to bend down a wee bit) then left paw saying 'left' whilst lifting your other leg up. Make sure your dog can see your leg being lifted. When it does it right, praise it & reward it. Do this a for 5 repetitions & give it a break.
Step 4 - Make sure you & your dog are in the same position like in step 2. Now this time, use your feet & ask for its paws(you can still use your hand as a guidance but try not to touch its paws, make sure its paws touch your feet or knees) Remember, right leg for right paw & left leg for left paw.

Do this a few times & give it a well deserve break! Just bare this in mind, this dressage thing is not easy for us doggies coz it's not natural for us. So by doing this takes a lot of energy. Do it everyday but not toooo long!

3) Finally one of MY tricks! The 'Flip'. Wahahaha! This you must learn... But in order to learn this, you need to learn the 'Back up' or 'Reverse' trick 1st! Okay okay, I know most of you don't know how to do this. I'll tell your hoomans how to teach you this 'Back up/Reverse' tricks 1st then the 'Flip' trick.

*To 'Back up' or 'Reverse':
Step 1 - Stand your dog & stand in front of it. Take a step or two towards it & when your dog walks backwards say 'Back up!', praise it & reward it. Try this again for 5 times & give it a break.
Step 2 - Do the same thing again but take more steps towards it & if it moves backwards as you do it, praise & reward it again. If your dog veers to the side, try using a long PVC or any other light poles to tap it's side. The pole it not used as a threat! So every time you walk towards it & it walks backwards but veers to the side, use the pole to tap it's side lightly to tell the dog that it must keep in a straight line. And if it does it right, praise it like crazy like you've not seen him/her for months & reward it!
Step 3 - Stand in front of your dog & ask it to 'back up!' giving it a signal to move backwards & if it does without you having to walk towards it, praise it like crazy & reward it! Do this a few times a day eventually increasing its steps. Soon it'll get it! And when it does, I think it's time for your dog to learn the 'Flip!'

Here is me demonstrating to you all how both 'Back Up' & 'Flip' are done.

*To 'Flip!':
Step 1 - Stand in front of your dog & ask it to back up without you having to move towards it. Let him take a step or two backwards & then use a treat or toy & lure it around it saying 'Flip!' at the same time, making the dog turn aroun d facing its bum bum to you. Ask it to 'back up' into your legs whilst giving it signal too. If he does it correctly, praise it & reward it! If your dog can't do it or tends to turn around to face you again, hold its underbelly, & pull it backwards into your legs while saying 'Flip!' then 'back up'. Say 'back up' when you pull him backwards into your legs & say 'Flip!' when you make it turn 90 degrees around, facing its bum bum to you. Do this a few times a day & give it a break. Give it a week or two to get use to this trick 1st before you move on to the next step.
Step 2 - Stand in front of it & ask your dog to back up. Make sure h e backs up further this time. At least 4 feet away or more then give it a signal & ask it to 'Flip!' & when it does ask it to 'back up' towards you. Keep repeating the 'back up' command coz the dog will then hear for your voice to find you. Some dogs will use their ears to find you or some will turn around to look for you. And if it does it well with no problem, praise it like mad & give it a big, big reward for its hard work!

Just remember hoomans, always praise & reward your pooch for something it's done for YOU. If you don't, then the dog will not learn it as fast & will n ot understand why you're not appreciating what it's doing what you want... Then next time, the dog will refuse to do it! I hope you all doggies will be able to learn these three simple tricks. Good luck to you all & if you need any help from professional me *ahem* just ask me yer!? I'll be glad to help!

I totally can't wait to see it & neither can you guys too right? Heeeheee.. . It's been more than 6 months already. I wonder what took them sooo long? I hope they didn't edited it too much. I'm worried!

Oh and yes! My mommy's 17th Birthday tomorrow! She's gonna celebrate it with her friends tomorrow at a themepark. She LOVES themeparks! I haven't got any pressie for her yet. I think I'll try to find one tomorrow...

Fuurrrr-Rosty Paws!

Hey guess what? My mommy finally made me some Furrr-rosty paws! After hours & hours and days & days of nagging her, she finally got her butt up from the chair & made some. Sheesh! What's soooo difficult for her to take an hour off the computer to make some simple ice-cream???

Okay okay, now that she's finally made some, let me tell you what's it made of. Altho most of you guy's frosties are made of yogurt, I asked mommy to make mine with condensed milk. Coz I, generally prefer milk. They taste better... Okay and then, they're mixed with a bit of Nestum for a nice aroma & flavor. But the special thing about these frosties are, that they have peanut butter in the center. So when I bite it, it's like a big surprise to my taste buds, "Ooooh! Peanut butter!" Heeeheee... And then the top of it is just sprinkled with candies just for fun.

Judge C says: Hmmmm... not bad. Not bad at all! I like the milkiness of the ice cream & the peanut butter is just wonderful!

Judge A says: Ooooh-la-la! I just LOVE it! Magnifico!

Mmmm... it's sooooo delicious that I have to lick the plate!

WOW! What a week!

Harlo my pup friends! Wow, these past three days has been wonderful! Okay, okay to start out this post let me tell you all that I've been nominated for Awesome Blog Award for the month of July! Uh, OMG!!! Thank you so sooo much Booie my shorty friend for nominating me, hehehehe...

This is the one thing that I've always wanted, someone nominating for the DWB awards & I'm so speechless right now but very excited! This is my 1st time ever being nominated for something great like this. I've always been soooo jealous of my friends for winning those lovely awards(sorry, I didn't mean to but I couldn't help it) & never thought that my blog is good enough to win an award but look! I've FINALLY been nominated! Wooohoooo! You have no idea how excited I am... If I win! Woh! I think I'll faint... hehehehe. Okay, okay I think I'm over doing it here but anyhoo, if you would like to vote for me(which I hope you will) then just go over to DWB webby & vote there yer!?

Me panting like hell after a long walk...

Okay to the next now! Just yesterday we had a stoopid black out here in our area. I think something busted & we had no electricity for 7 hours! For my hoomans, they were totally pissed! But for me? I was having a time of my life altho it was a wee bit hot after a loooong night walk. The black out started around 8 pm & went on till 3 am in the morning.

Mommy gave us a big bowl of ice water with ice cubes in it for us to drink & cool down. Chloe drank most of it. She was really dying of heat...

Eventually I needed some too... It was hot, hot, HOT!

My hoomans & mommy was complaining that is was very, very hot(which was sooo true especially for a long haired doggy like me) & so we all together as a family slept in the... yeap. The PORCH! But hey, it was very cooling out there ya know & it was all padded up with mats & my mommy washed & scrubbed the porch in the afternoon & so it was quite clean. They all slept through out the night except me coz I was still suffering from the heat. But then they went back upstairs to bed when the electricity came back on. Hopefully, it doesn't happen again!

OooOOooOooooOooooo...

Okay, enough about that, let me tell you what I got today! Today, I was just lazying around after my breakfast as usual then suddenly, our doorbell rang & we three went berserk!(we usually become like that when we hear doorbells ringing even if it's just coming from the television) The mailman coming out from his van handed over a big big parcel to my mommy. I knew it was a pressie but I didn't know who it was from. Mommy gave to me & I looked at it & it's from the Newfs, Nanook & Pooka all the way from the USA. Yahoooooooooo! Thank you guys!

I tired a few attempts to open the box but I failed so mommy eventually had to tear a part off from the box. I could smell something familiar in there. Its smelled sooo good, something green & no, not veggies & not the treats either. Something else... I couldn't wait any longer & just hbad to tear the box open to get it.

It's a TENNIS BALL! My favourite... And no, it's not just like any other ordinary tennis balls. It's double the size of a normal tennis ball & it squeaks too! Ooooo, how exciting! I rate this ball a good bouncy TEN!

I got a loverly letter too! Nice paw print Nanook... Mmmmm, smells like your feet.

And a special Moo Moo's private part aka bully stick. Chloe that's MINE! You see how pissed my face looks??? Give it to me or else...

The two monkeys love the sweet potato chips! I'm not a sweet tooth girl so they both can have it. All theirs!

And while those two are enjoying their potato ships, I'm enjoying me smelly bully stick. And guess what? It was totally terminated within 15 minutes! Fast eh!? Heeeheee...

My hooman kept there other bag of Salmon treats for training. Hhhmmmpppfff! Fine! Anyway, what do you think of those pressies guys? Lovely aren't they. This is my 1st time getting to taste a bully stick, yum yum! Thank you my friends! Thank you very much! I LOVED them all so did Faith & Chloe.

Visiting beautiful people at Beautiful Gate

Hi my friends, I'm back! I know... I know... it's been some time since I blogged. But anyway, here's the new post!

Last night around 10pm, my sistas & I got to visit a place called Beautiful Gate where all the mentally & physically challenged people lived. This is our 1st time visiting these kind of places & it was all very exciting coz we got to meet new doggies there but not all were friendly to us, some of them snapped at us & we also got to meet all the disabled people on wheelchairs. Most of them were adults already but there was only one young girl there... They also have dogs of their own! The female was a wee bit unfriendly but the male was very friendly!

You wanna know why? I'll tell you guys later... *wink*

My hooman brought some cakes for them to eat & they all enjoyed it very much! There was this boy there who liked Chloe & me a lot! I also performed there for them & they really enjoyed it. They really liked the part when I did the spinning & rollover... I'm glad I made their day! The photographer took loads of pics of me too! Hehehehe...

Hehehe, then he saw me & fell in love with me after that. He also brought me for a walk.

I got to meet this cheeky little girl... I can't remember her name. But she's a very hyper one!

This sweet girl really liked her a lot... Mommy said that this girl, is the sweetest person she's ever met despite her illness & disabilities. She's always happy & always smiling.

She loved Frasier a lot too! He's a poodle cocker mix, very calm... He's a bit of a casanova too coz he sprays everywhere & always go crazy when he comes near me & sniff butts with me. Well, that's because I'm on *ahem*

Later the night ended with a group picture. We really enjoyed ourselves there! It was very tiring but it was worth a while meeting all those lovely people with beautiful hearts. I'm very happy that I got touch them all. Overall, it was just a wonderful night! I think we should go there often... Hehe! I LOVE this place!

Anyway, expect to see us in the newspapers again. It'll be punblished either this Saturday or Sunday. Definitely I'll show you all! Have a great day every doggies & GG!
