I'm proud of you Amber Girl!

You can't imagine how great today has been & how relieved I am! Amber & Faith sat for their Novice & Pre-Novice exam this afternoon at South City Plaza & fortunately, Amber has passed her Novice exam with flying colours! It's beyond my expectations! She scored 94 out of 100 marks & is in 1st placing. She scored 34 out of 40 for heel free, she got full marks for recall. Oh, it was beautiful! She actually ran straight to me & sat in front of me. So that's another good news...She also got full marks for stand, sit & down stay too...Isn't that great?!

But sad news for Faith, she actually failed her Pre-Novice Exam! How the heck did that happen..???? Oh no, she actually got up during down stay, just two seconds before exercise finished! Holly Mackerel...But this not one hopeless ending for her, she & another Labrador was given one more chance to re-sit for their exam next week & they are allowed to move up to Novice. How nice of them ha? We all celebrated together, had a good time. Can't wait for the Graduation Day!

Their Beautiful Portraits

Both of these dead gorgeous portraits were done by non other, Aunt Suzi. They are so real life like aren't they? Look at Amber, she's a real gorgeous babe as usual & Faith, so typical...LOL! It takes a week for her to finish one & she's also a real nice person to talk to! If any of you are interested in commissioning an artwork or stone painting, just visit Aunt Suzi's website.

Awww...Aren't Dalmatians just cute?

Awww...aren't they just cute together? They just blend so well don't they...This is Faith's new friendly neighbourhood Dalmatian, Kiri. No, not Kiri as in 'left' in Bahasa Melayu but Kiri as the famous opera singer from New Zealand, Kiri Te Kanawa. They named her that because, she's very vocal every morning & night. And she's also very all over the place! She's just a cutie pie with bad fishy breath...

1st Time at PetnYou Carnival

Me chit-chatting with Crumbs owner while
those two monkeys were looking half-dead...

Had a fun time at the PetnYou Carnival yesterday. Amber & Faith registered for the OB challenge Competition the week before the carnival. But unfortunately, we thought that the competition starts later about nine something but the person who was incharged called & told us that it was starting now which was 8am. We were still halfway there when she called up. My mum speeded her way & took the wrong turn and also caused an accident behind her car. The car behind her tried to overtake her but my mum was concentrating on getting to the carnival as fast as possible and didn't see the car on her right. Well, it was partly that person's fault too! Who asked him to try and overtake her?

Anyway, we finally made it but we're too late f
or the Pre-Novice competition. No trophy for Faith, poor thing...When it was Amber's time for the Novice Competition, she did pretty well infact better than those who were already in Intermediate who also joined for Novice too. Unfortunately another sad news, she failed it because she ran towards my mum & Faith during recall. Sigh...She got fourth placing for it. My Amber & I were candidates Number 8. Amber got the highest marks for 'Heel Free'. You can see in the picture on the right & compare the marks she & others got. Click to largen it.

Surprisingly, Faith was more half-dead than Amber when she actually
didn't do anything the whole time there!

Amber & Faith manage to join a
game which was 'The Longest Stay'. It was too hot by that time, so they both couldn't take it & walked off from the ring. Got consolation prizes though from participating. Amber also joined the Basic Jumpers Agility but did badly in it. Also could have been caused by the heat from the sun, and it was also a different environment & the equipments were different too...

It was getting hotter & hotter by the minute & so we decided to make a move. When we reached home, I managed to give our two dogs a wash before their training at South City Plaza. What a hassle day! Hehehehe...

Faith, you're in a weird position...
Wonder what ya doing?

That's Arun the Miniature Schnauzer & her daddy...

Crumbs, are you camera shy?

Fun Day at Seri Sedaya School Field

On Saturday morning, my mum & I brought our two dogs to the Seri Sedaya School Field to have some mud fun. It is located after Sunway Pyramid. Wow! There was so much space for them to run around & there were Agility Obstacles available for dogs to use too...Good, if you want to go through some agility training.

This enclosed area is very safe for dogs to be let off-leash. On the left is Amber covered with mud & so were we! Hehehe...And on the right is Faith rubbing herself on the grass...We met a few new dogs & people there too. They all were very welcoming & friendly. So were their dogs! Groovy & his daddy were very nice to show me some of their cool moves. Amber will be able to do those soon, just give her time...It takes a year or more to master them!

So, those who are interested in bringing their dogs to join the fun, just go to Groovy's Blog & find out more information. It is held every Saturday morning at 8am till 10am. Don't miss the muddy splashy-splash fun! Oh & thanks Fawn, for these perfect photos!

Grrrrrrr....I'm gona get you no matter what!

Hey, what you up to huh gangsters?

Hey Groovy, wha-da' up to?

Bone For Breakfast?

Can you handle both?

Today my mom decided to boil two massive cow bones for our two dogs for breakfast instead of their normal meals. Look at the size of those bones!!! My mom bought the whole set, the thigh and the calf bone. Oooo...they sure did love it! Yummy, yummy, yummy, I got love in my tummy and I feel like loving you!

Water Balloon Time!

Yesterday was raining cats & dogs from 5 in the afternoon till 11 at night. As usual, Amber & Faith were wrestling outside in the porch & I was so bored in the house coz the tv connection had gone bad. So I decided to make those two monkeys some water balloons to play with since they were already wet...At first they were curious about it & poked it around but in few minutes, most of them exploded with water gushing out of them into their mouths. Hahaha! The video above is Amber playing with the last water balloon. It's so funny! It's a bit dark but I hope you can see it...Please leave comments on what you think went through Amber's mind when the water balloon disappeared.

Amber's Daily Game

In case you guys haven't known, this is what Amber plays with us during our free time everyday. We call this game 'Umbrella Hockey'. Why? Becoz we use an umbrella to hit the ball! We actually invented this game ever since I first saw Amber crouching backwards, starring & not taking her eyes off her ball on the floor beside my foot. Probably thinking that I would kick it towards her...Look at the total concentration in her eyes on the ball. Oooo...Many people at out training place find this funny & amusing. So do I!
